What's New in LocalSound Music Player
1.22.0
October 14, 2026
An album's song list now ends with how long the album runs: "12 songs · 48 min". Endless playback works when the app is started by the car, the watch, a widget or Siri. Albums now show standalone songs too: a song with no album appears as a single. The player always names what is playing above the artwork, and tapping it opens that release. Search no longer offers "No album" as an album. Timed lyrics: tapping a line makes the text follow the song again; a new song's lyrics scroll on their own. Volume levelling: quiet songs play louder, the jump between songs is smaller. Statistics count minutes by the time that actually played. Favorites gather starred songs of one album into a single card. "Add to Favorites" in the player's "..." menu; "Erase the iCloud copy" in the backup section. Crossfade lasts as long as the slider says; CarPlay's Queue starts at the song that is playing.
