Great Tracking App
Hey I just wanted to tell anyone quick if your looking for a detailed tracker this is the one.. it shows a lot of useful information and saves your track to let you pick back up to it and pause it whenever you like.. if you turn the setting on when you stop moving for a few minutes your tracker will stop then when you move again your phone will ask you to continue or not that way the results are more accurate..great app I love it and had 0 issues with it so far 👍

Ich nutze L2W als Segler seit vielen Jahren und sammle damit die Tracks meiner Törns. Das Schöne ist, dass man die Aufzeichnung der Tagestörns stoppen und neu starten kann, auch wenn man die APP deaktiviert. Man hat am Schluss den zusammenhängenden Törn über viele Tage. Über den Link sind alle Freunde stets mit dabei. Um alle tollen Features zu beschreiben fehlt hier leider der Platz. Eine meiner Lieblings-APPs.

Läuft tadellos
Ziemlich genau positioniert und das ohne großartige Akkuverbrauch. Schöne Sache mit Bilder im Track und die Nachrichten… Sehr zu empfehlen.
Very Pleased so far
I googled apps that allowed publishing of a track to web and LocaToWeb came up. I wanted to allow people to view the route of a charity Santa sleigh so they know when to expect us.
So far it’s performed brilliantly and it’s very easy to set up tracks. Even managed to import kml file waypoints with no problems.
Well worth the small purchase price.

LocaToWeb - awesome tool for flying drones
I work in a job that requires us to fly a wide variety of small UAS and drones. This is a super handy tool for gathering additional data, and pushing locations and tracks to the cloud for later analysis.
Sehr exakt
Läuft sauber und fehlerfrei. Die Trackingpunkte sind sehr genau. An der deutschen Übersetzung könnte man noch arbeiten.
Sehr gute APP
Nutze die APP beim Motorrad fahren und sende den Link an Freunde um sie an der Fahrt teilhaben zu lassen , auch eine Sicherheit falls mal ein Unfall passiert ist der letzte Standort auf der Karte eingetragen

Die App hat ein super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.
Das, wofür sie eigentlich gedacht ist, macht sie zuverlässig, also ohne Abstürze oder ähnliches.
Praktisch ist, dass man jemand immer automatisch benachrichtigen kann, sobald die Aufzeichnung gestartet wird.
Geschickt ist, dass man vorab einen Track hochladen kann, damit die „Fans“ sehen, wohin die Reise geht.
3 Sterne für die Kür.
Fotos muss man direkt am Ort hinzufügen, damit sie korrekt auf der Karte angezeigt werden.
Fotos werden ohne GPS Koordinaten in der App Fotos abgelegt.
Möchte man einen Track öffentlich machen, kann man Start und Ziel nicht mit einer Unschärfe versehen.
Beschreibungsfeld kennt in der Karten Anzeige keinen Zeilenumbruch.
In der Kür vergibt die App unnötig Potential.
Da diese Punkte aber nicht ganz so wichtig sind für mich, habe ich keinen Stern abgezogen.
Nichtsdestotrotz ist das sehr schade, denn ansonsten könnte man damit sehr schön seine Touren dokumentieren.

Not Working in background
Please update - it isn’t working in background anymore - only for some minutes

Hi Dasrene. It should work very well in the background as long as you have allowed location services Always and the power saving is disabled.
Complete waste
I tried to use this so friends could see where i was during an event and after a couple hits to the website to track me- it started to try to charge everybody money to track me. Then, at best, only tracked me intermittently. Dont buy it. Im sure now that i deleted the app they will try to keep changing me for some hidden subscription. Save your money and go with something else.

Hi DoCh. LocaToWeb now automatically switch to a free map service (OpenLayers/OSM) when there are no Google Map loads left. No re-fill is required for the map to continue to work. BTW, there are no hidden subscription.
Improving
The latest update has been dreadful with loads of issues running it on iPhone XR that I never used to have as it used to work excellently. However since writing a one star review a number of issues have been fixed and I’ve had contact with the developer which is encouraging. So far everything seems much better and issues are resolved, however I do think that these updates shouldn’t be issued without THOROUGH testing first!!!! I’ve updated my review so fingers crossed that no other problems occur.

Hi Walking Dilly. Problems in version 3.9.x should all been addressed and fixed in version 4.0.0.
Frustrated with Goigle.
I’m moving away from this otherwise excellent app as I keep receiving notice to pay. It is particularly frustrating as this closes the app off to people who are keen on tracking their athlete.
Yes it is quick and easy to pay with a phone. But it has been gobbling up my 10 dollar add ons at a rate of knots. I’d like to know why it gobbles up the 10 bucks so quickly.
I’m going to move to another app.

I am on a Fifty day motorcycle ride and LocaToWeb works great in the States. I did have issues in Canada but that could have been my phone

Nutze die App zum Mountainbike fahren und wandern. Hatte letztens einen Platten, meine Frau wusste genau wo ich bin und konnte mich aufsammeln. Und das man unterwegs Fotos einfügen kann finde ich richtig toll.

Die App macht was sie soll. Der Tack ist gut. Der Datenverbrauch und der Akkuverbrauch ist hierbei top! Einige andere Apps haben mir während eines Laufes den Akku leer gezogen.
