I’ve been using Loci for a while now and honestly, it’s changed how I think about AI. It’s a private AI everything runs right on my own. My conversations are actually mine, and I completely free.

Great app - very responsive developer
For those, like me, who have visual trouble with white text on a black background, I asked the developer if there could be a fix. He replied quickly and, in two days, provided a white background with dark text option. Bravo,

Outstanding performance!
This is one of the few apps that features local AI that doesn’t crash my phone, not to mention; it does not lag! I really enjoy the fast response times and how it excels in brainstorming and general help. Applause to the creator!

Agentic Tools In The Future?
First of all, Locally is by far the best local AI app I’ve tried on iPhone, and I’ve tried quite a few. The fact that you have web search integrated is just awesome. I don’t know if any of the other big ones are doing that. That said, I was wondering if you ever planned on adding in some agentic usage, for example allowing it to hook up to some model context protocol servers like appdeploy or any of the other big ones that work with ChatGPT and Claude right now. I just think that that would be a really cool feature to have and it makes sense when you have agent (albeit small agentic) models like Gemma 4 E2B on the device. Also it would be very cool in the future if you could add a Qwen Coder model. Overall, this is a great app, and thanks for making it free.

Useful for my travels
I travel for work. This app helps in areas where I don’t have service. I can build useful ai models. If you use chat gpt or Claude, you are a loser, in my humble opinion.
Best local AI on the market
Loci is exactly what I have been looking for - it lets me use AI offline, free, and without any limits, and it’s the only option I’ve found that actually works. For anyone else who has been disappointed by other local AI options, I highly recommend this one. Exceeded my expectations significantly.

For a free and offline app it has a pleasant user experience and clean interface. The tradeoff you make for having less capable models is worth it while traveling or needing offline access. Highly recommend!

Loci is an incredibly powerful local AI that I’ve started using all the time. It’s especially useful when I’m trying to complete projects in places with poor cellular of wifi connections. The UI is very impressive and I definitely see myself continuing to rely on the app long-term for my AI need
