What is this price bro

Look i understand that you put alot of effort into the ui and overall app design, its super easy to use and looks very nice. However 15 bucks a year (im ignoring the 5 dollar weekly on purpose ) is insane bruh the product youre selling is an app that can change your wallpaper this is worth 5 bucks one time purchase at most. However ignoring the ridiculous price its a very nice app

Thanks for the honest feedback. We’re glad you like the app. We understand the price won’t feel right for everyone, and we appreciate you giving it a try. Why don't you reach out to me at iosnotewall@gmail.com maybe we can figure something out :))

Subscription

Not advertised as “in app subscriptions” no need to pay for something so simple.

Response from developer

Hey, so sorry for your bad experience. I genuinely want the users to try the app for the first 3 days for free and only then if they want, they can subscribe. Why don't you reach out to me at iosnotewall@gmail.com maybe we can figure something out :))

Looks good but Cost is to high

After onboarding, I discovered a weekly charge of $4.99, which is unacceptable. The App Store listing stated the lifetime price as $5.99 per year, so I deleted the app immediately upon seeing the actual price.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate the feedback. If you ever have ideas for improvements or features you’d like to see, feel free to reach out. I’m actively working on making it even better. Thanks again for the support!

Laborious Setup

This app makes you go through a long and laborious series of screens to set it up, then, before you get a chance to try it out they hit you with a paywall. Look, I believe people should be compensated for their work but when so many of these productivity apps fail to deliver I need to see it in action before I commit to a SUBSCRIPTION FEE.

Hey, sorry for the friction, and your point about “try before you commit” is genuinely fair. The first wallpaper is actually completely free and should be visible without hitting a paywall, so if you didn't see that, something went wrong and I'd really like to figure out what. If you're up for it, email iosnotewall@gmail.com and I'll look into it. Full transparency: I'm a student building this solo, and groceries have to come from somewhere, haha. But the first free wallpaper exists for exactly the reason you described... you should be able to see the thing work before paying for it. If any other ideas come to mind for how to make this less frustrating, the email above goes straight to me. Karol, the founder of NoteWall

Just what I was looking for!

I used to rely on an app called Goldfish List that let me turn my notes into a wallpaper so I could see everything the second I picked up my phone. It disappeared from the App Store, and I honestly missed it more than I expected.

I just found Lockscreen Notes and it’s exactly what I needed, but better. It’s super easy to use, looks beautiful on your lock screen, and makes staying on top of things feel effortless. If you like having reminders right in front of you without unlocking your phone, definitely download this.

Great app!

This app has a really great setup! Yhe tutorials are super easy to follow as well! As someone who has ADHD I 10/10 recommend!

Aspen, this genuinely made my week, thank you. I built NoteWall because I was sick of forgetting my own goals while unlocking my phone ~100 times a day. The whole bet is that passive visibility beats notifications you can swipe away, and hearing it's clicking for someone with ADHD (honestly one of the people I had in mind the entire time I was building it) tells me the idea actually holds up in the real world. The iOS Shortcuts setup was the single hardest thing to make feel easy, so “super easy to follow” is the compliment I was most hoping for. If you ever want a feature added or hit anything weird, email me at iosnotewall@gmail.com it comes straight to me. — Karol, the founder of NoteWall

Not actually free

Doesn’t give me the option to skip a monthly / lifetime fee AFTER spending 10minutes setting it up. Maybe it’s just me but idk

Response from developer

Haley! Listen, chances are you pick up your phone around 100 times a day. And every single time, you're letting Instagram and TikTok steal your focus before you even remember what you actually wanted to do with your life. NoteWall puts YOUR goals on that lock screen so every one of those 100 pickups works FOR you. One time. $5.99. That's less than a Starbucks coffee for a tool that's on your lock screen every single day. You didn't find a scam, Haley. You found the best $6 you'll ever spend haha.
