How does LockPact work with a partner?
You pair with a trusted person using a 6-digit code. Each of you selects apps to lock on your own device. When you need access, you send an unlock request, and your partner must approve it.
Does LockPact have ads?
Yes, LockPact contains advertisements. One ad plays before an unlock request is sent, which is intended to add friction to the unlocking process.
Is LockPact free to use?
Yes, the core accountability features of LockPact are free and will remain so forever. This includes pairing, selecting apps to lock, sending/receiving unlock requests, and bypass notifications.
What devices does LockPact support?
LockPact is currently supported on iPhone devices. The app uses the Screen Time API, which is specific to iOS.
How is my privacy protected with LockPact?
Your screen time data never leaves your device. LockPact only syncs lock status and unlock requests, not your app usage details. Screen Time API data is processed on-device only.
