Top Social Media & Messaging App — Very Cool!
Honestly Locksy is one of the coolest apps I’ve used lately. It’s kinda like Snapchat but way more about actually talking and meeting friends from school. The messaging and chat rooms are fun, and the Drop thing is actually so cool because you can send something and see who responds. I also like that there are different rooms depending on what you’re into. The camera is easy to use too. There are so many social media apps now, but most feel kinda the same. Locksy actually feels different, and it’s way easier to meet, chat, talk and just vibe with friends. Definitely one of the apps I’d recommend to other teens.

I love Secret Drops, COOL APP
Secret Drops are honestly really fun. You send something and the countdown starts, which makes you actually want to open it before it’s gone. Peek is cool too because you can get a quick look. I like that Locksy is more about friends and sharing moments than just endless social media scrolling. It has chat, messaging, photos and AI Remix all together. It feels like one of those apps teenagers would actually use with their friends after school. Pretty cool Snapchat alternative.

An App Made For us Teens
Locksy feels like it was actually designed for teens and teenagers instead of being an adult app with teens label added later. The chat app is easy, messaging is fast and sharing photos with friends feels natural. I like being able to talk to teens, have teens talk, send messages and share stuff without everything being about a public feed. The Smart Camera is really good and AI Remix makes photos more fun. It’s free on iPhone and definitely worth trying if you want something different from Snapchat.

Top Social Camera App, Is So Good
The Smart Camera is probably the best thing about Locksy. It makes taking a photo and sending it to friends feel instant instead of opening five different things. AI Remix is also really cool for changing stuff before you share it. The app is free, works on iPhone, and has messaging, chat and private spaces. I was looking for an alternative to Snapchat and Locksy feels way more focused on actually talking to friends instead of just watching random stuff.

My Friends Actually Use It for chat
I downloaded Locksy because my friends were talking about it and now I get why. The app is really fun and the camera makes sharing stuff super quick. I like Secret Drops and Peek because they make sending things feel more exciting. The chat and messaging are simple, and it’s actually nice having a social app made around teens. We can talk, share photos and just mess around. It’s basically a new option for teenagers chat and teens talk without everything being a huge public feed.

Locksy is such a cool social media app. I like that it feels more social than just scrolling a feed all day. Locksy feels like social media got a creative upgrade ~900 chars
I've tried a lot of teens chat and social apps and most of them eventually feel like the same loop. Hit it with AI is the part that really hooked me. I compared it with AI features in apps like Snapchat and, for the things I tried, Locksy AI Remix felt way faster and more fun. But the bigger difference is imagination. A normal lens says “here are the effects you can use.” AI Remix says “tell me what you want.” Then you can actually send the result through the Locksy social camera experience instead of exporting it somewhere else. Add the ephemeral messages, disappearing Drops, chat, friends, rooms and messaging and it all feels connected. It's honestly refreshing to use a social media app where the point isn't just watching other people. You're actually making the stuff you're sending.

Why are filters still the main thing? 😭
Not gonna lie, AI Remix is probably my favorite part of Locksy. I compared the AI stuff with apps like Snapchat and Locksy AI Remix felt noticeably faster when I was using it. But speed isn't even the main thing. It's the fact that you're not stuck choosing between 20 filters someone else designed. You can say what you want the photo to become. That's such a different vibe. Take a photo .. prompt it.. watch AI cook and send it to friends. And because Locksy has the chat, messaging, Drops, rooms and disappearing/ephemeral stuff around it, the AI doesn't feel like some random tool added onto a social app. It actually belongs there. Lowkey this is how I'd expect a social camera app to work in 2026.

Cool Snap App
I've used bunch of other teens chat and teens social apps, including of course snapchat and Locksy feels way more focused on actually making stuff with your friends. The AI Remix is the biggest difference for me. With normal lenses/filters, you're basically picking from whatever they already made. With Locksy AI, you can literally type an idea. I tried some ridiculous prompts just to see what would happen 😂 and that's where it gets fun. Then you can send it as a Drop, chat about it, or throw it into the social flow. The rooms in the chatroom stuff & ephemeral messages make the app feel pretty different too.

What I like about Locksy is that everything actually feels connected. You can take a photo, hit AI Remix, type whatever random idea comes into your head, see it transform, then send it straight into the chat & messaging experience. You're not bouncing between 3 different apps. The ephemeral messages and disappearing Drops make it feel even more like a moment instead of another post sitting around forever. Honestly, the whole thing feels built around creating and sending instead of just scrolling. Top App tbh.

AI Remix goes crazy, special social app for me
Locksy is lowkey one of the more fun apps I've tried lately. The messaging + ephemeral Drops + rooms are already cool, but AI Remix is what got me. I compared it with apps like Snapchat and their AI stuff, and Locksy AI Remix felt way faster to me. Filters and lenses give you options. Remix lets you actually ask for what you want. I thought Locksy was gonna be another copy chat or social app but the AI Remix thing is actually different. You take a photo, type what you're thinking and boom. No preset filter deciding what your pic can be. Your imagination is basically the limit, amazing teens app.
