As of August 8th, it's Not ready for prime time yet.
First. This is the DCC app that I've been working waiting for. Having my full layout displayed and controlling turnouts from my layout map, controlling locomotives on my IPad, and automation, it's the total package. The developers have done a lot of work on Locolink, but there's more to do.
I installed Locolink in June, but over the next couple of weeks, it immediately crashed on opening. This was a free 30 day trial, so before the 30 trial was up, I uninstalled it. The first August, I reinstalled it, and now it opens up. I see the developers of this app have taken a lot of time and thought, but it's not ready for prime time yet. The layout builder seems stodgy, even using an Apple pencil, which I believe is a must. At least, once it's completed, I shouldn't have to revisit the layout builder page. But.....I can't continue with this app until I can place my cross tracks in correctly. I have a single line going over two main line tracks and with their one crosstrack template I can't get the angel I need. You can rotate the template, but it doesn't rotate to the angel of my tracks. I've written them twice about this, but I've had no response. I definitely want to start my Paid one year Pro version next month, but if I can't correctly set up my layout plan, I'll have to cancel the trial before the subscription starts. This will be so disappointing!

Hi Bigislandron, thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re sorry you haven’t received a response, we cannot currently find your earlier messages. Did you send them to info@locolink.io or support@locolink.io? Please contact us again at either address and mention your App Store username and this review. If possible, include a screenshot showing the crossover and the angle you need. We would really like to help you set up your layout correctly and investigate how we can improve the track-plan editor. Thank you for giving LocoLink another try.
Crashes...
Even with the latest update, this app flashes opening on screen and immediately closes. What's up?
