What's New in Lode

1.1.0

September 18, 2026

• See which device recorded each metric. When two devices record the same thing, your AI can compare them. • Choose which device Lode uses for your sleep. Naps are listed separately from the night. • See which metrics have no data before you export. • More accurate dates, ranges, and numbers, plus Wrist and Body Temperature in Popular. • Fixed: sleep totals were too low on Apple Watch nights.

User reviews

Wonderful app, small request

So far this is the absolute best app I have seen for downloading Apple Health data - I’ve tried them all! It has maximum flexibility which makes it ideal. That said, there’s one thing I’d love to see added, and I have left feedback on your site but I have no way of knowing if you’ve received it. Could you please add the source of the data as a field in your dataset? When a user like me uses multiple devices for the same data point (sleep data for example) there’s no way to tell which data came from which source, which is really important because they often differ enough that you’ll want to prioritize, OR you might want to aggregate or average - the choice should be made by the user during the analysis phase. I know that the source is available from the Health app because I’ve seen it in the data downloads from other health download applications. Thanks!

Response from developer

Update: We have released these changes! Original Response: Thank you — this honestly made our week! Yes, we got your feedback, and we're sorry we left you hanging. We also just emailed you a few questions; your answers would help us a lot. Good news: sources are the headline feature of the upcoming version 1.1.0. Your export will show which device recorded each metric. When two devices log the same thing on the same day, the file will include each device's own value right next to the combined one. Long export periods will lean on some things being summarized to stay AI-friendly, but sleep will always includes both devices, every night. Prioritizing, averaging, or comparing stays your call, just like you suggested. Workouts recorded twice are both kept and flagged. We're a small team still building and testing, so some details may shift. Notes like yours are exactly what shape them. More ideas? We read everything at lode.health/contact

great

!

Thank you Lode!

This is the tool that I’ve been looking for! I’ve needed a way to transfer my health data from one piece of tech to another. It’s been a struggle and I need to get my Apple data available elsewhere help me set goals, identify problems, etc. This app makes it simple and easy!

Best solution for exports to AI

Super simple way to get your Apple Health data out and into AI tools. I tried other CSV etc exports before, but this one is much better. My AI even said, “This dataset is strictly superior. Buying the developer coffee is reasonable.”

I became a beta tester and have been using it to feed my health data into ChatGPT, Gemini for analysis. The export is clean, fast, and easy to use. Exactly what I needed. Five stars.
