About
Lodeline shows USGS 3DEP LiDAR terrain and a plain terrain-favorability read for spots you care about.
Snap a geotagged photo or drop a pin. Lodeline pulls bare-earth elevation for that location and scores how much the ground resembles classic collector terrain: drainages, benches, and low spots. That score is favorability, not a mineral detector. Lodeline never claims to find gold and never shows a dollar value of gold.
ASK THE AI GEOLOGIST (LODELINE+)
Drop a pin and get a field briefing grounded in public records: nearby historical mineral occurrences from USGS data, host-rock context, and drainage reads. Follow-up questions stay on the same spot. Lodeline+ is an optional auto-renewable subscription for server AI features.

REAL SCIENCE. STRAIGHT ANSWERS.
Lodeline scores terrain favorability from public government data and shows its work. Historical mineral records are history, not active claims or proof of gold: always verify land status and get permission before you dig. Your photos stay on your device unless you attach one to an AI message.

What's New in Lodeline
1.0.21
October 8, 2026
A 30 second preview shows USGS LiDAR taking the trees off the canyon, then the map. Terrain favorability is a 0-100 read of the ground. It is not a gold finder, and it never shows a dollar value of gold. Ground Disturbance counts repeated pits in the terrain. When there are enough, you get one outline and a count. When there are not, it says nothing stood out. Those shapes can be natural. They are not proof of gold and not permission to enter. Closed beta tools now learn this account's beta grant from the server. Area Intel's privacy note says it sends the ranked stream reaches found there.
