User friendly
The interface is designed keeping in mind the anaesthesiology practitioners and not a generic one. Backend tech team is very prompt to sort out your technical ignorance. Loads better than college logbooks. Give it a try before concluding.

Won’t let me upgrade
It’s a great logbook but I’ve got to 30 cases and it won’t let me upgrade to premium.
Nothing happens when I press the upgrade to premium option.
Not sure if deleting and re-downloading will help but I don’t want to lose my log by doing that!

In app purchase didn’t work.
Was good to start but then paid for premium access as otherwise you can only log 30 cases, despite paying £24 and doing usual trouble shooting still wouldn’t allow me to log any more cases, contacted app and heard nothing, still waiting for refund. Wouldn’t recommend.
Very good App for trainees
Very useful application for keeping an upto date log. Very easy to use.
A great app with a horrendous price tag
I used this log app as an anaesthetic nurse, it’s fast and simple compared to some of the paid log apps, which suited me, and it was very intuitive to add and navigate cases.
However after entering a number of cases, I was served a prompt that told me I had hit the maximum number of cases for the free version, and would need to pay $41.99 to add any new cases. A quick look around the App Store shows the most popular anaesthetic log app as $7.99, with more features (that I don’t need or want, but I’ll put up with them to save $34!). 42 dollars is just a crazy price!

ICloud support
Great app. Easy to log cases but crashes when attempting to use iCloud storage to import and export on iPhone.
Worth it
Used this app for two years then for technical reasons had to use another app. Had to switch to many others just to adhere to Log4AS quality but was never satisfied enough. I’m glad I’m back to using it now and I’ve noticed how much more convenient, thorough, bright and user friendly it is. Good work!

As a starting point, it's a good app, easy to use and quick to input data. I quite like the fact you can create electronic documents which can then be uploaded into other programs
Log4AS
Overall very good. Reports are well presented, issues are dealt with quickly by the developer. Could have a few more options for inputting of data.

A good start
A good start. Since the loss of iGas I think most UK anaesthetists have been looking for an alternative. This could be it, but really needs a lot of functionality improvements to make data entry for lists quicker and easier.
Could we please have data entry for lists of patients along the lines of 'save and go to next patient on list' so that several fields such as hospital and speciality are copied across, and ideally the start time is automatically entered from the previous cases finish time.
Also can each surgical speciality have its own list of operations rather than all ending up in the same data field. This would make selecting the operation from the pick list much easier. Pre filling the pick lists from the OPCS / CSSD list with procedure codes would be an even better option.
Additional functionality for those in private practice would be wonderful. Such as the ability to store the insurer, membership number and authorisation number. Ideally with the ability to export a lists data via a secure email.
