Started out fun but devs got careless in higher levels

I enjoy this game. It reminds me of sudoku with a story line. And I can overlook the occasional grammatical error (subject verb agreement, etc.). But as you move on in the game, clue errors start to appear, which voids the logic and kills the fun. For example, "Only blond-haired people in Column B are innocent." So you select a brown-haired person as guilty, but that turns out to be wrong. I'm on Level 139 and this is my fourth game with an error. I think the first 50 rounds or so were error free as fast as clues go, so it's fun for a few weeks.

Even more mistakes as you go on. Turns from a fun escape to frustration. I don't understand how it's so hard to get a kid who's proficient in English to play the game and help you find your errors. Pay her a bonus for every mistake she uncovers.

Passed all of the levels (including postcards)

The rumors are true — the grammar on the clues is atrocious (and sometimes downright misleading because of those errors).

Still, I passed every level. It’s fun to pass the time.

Fun way to pass the time

The grammar on a lot of the clues is downright awful and misleading, but it’s ok if you don’t take the game too seriously.

The ads play after every round, but thankfully don’t interrupt gameplay. It’s true this is a knock off/carbon copy of another game on the App Store, but most games on here are. They all reuse assets or game engines. If you can overlook these things, it’s fun.

Text too small

The text is too small and clues are often written wrong, don’t waste your time downloading this.

Game

This game would be wonderful if was full screen on my iPad. But unfortunately it isn’t so I will be deleting it.

Only complaint

The print is too small. Eliminate some of the top heading. Otherwise it’s great!

Response from developer

Thank you so much! We're thrilled you think it's great. Regarding the small text, we are already working on a design update to improve this. As a temporary solution, you can long-press on character cards to magnify them. We appreciate your suggestion!

Daily puzzle clues are often untrue

The daily puzzles are poorly written, most clues are the exact opposite of what they say. “All diagonal neighbors of x are good” and 3/4 are villains?

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. We’ve looked into the puzzles you mentioned and found that some of the earlier levels did contain misleading or incorrect clues. We’ve fixed these issues in the latest update. We appreciate you pointing this out and hope you’ll give the updated version a try.

Don't bother!!

A good portion of the clues are incorrect, leading to the player incorrectly choosing them as "good" or "bad". Boys sometimes have girl names and pink backgrounds, and vice versa. I love this type of logic game, but this one needs a HUGE amount of rewriting. Go download the Clue Master instead. I'm 100% sure the 5 star reviews on this game are fake.

Response from developer

Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize for the frustration caused by the incorrect clues and inconsistencies, such as the character names and backgrounds not matching their logic. We want to assure you that we have invested significant effort into a comprehensive review and revision of our puzzles. In the latest updates, we have rewritten a huge portion of the clues to ensure they are accurate and logically sound. The issues you mentioned, including the gender/name mismatches, have been a key focus for our team, and we are confident that the current version provides a much more coherent and fair logic-puzzle experience. We are genuinely committed to improving the game and are sorry that your initial experience did not meet expectations. We hope you might consider giving the updated version another chance.

Horrible

Clues don’t match the answers. Clue will say Row 3 is innocent, yet first person in row three is guilty. Or clue will say Sarah is guilty, so you click that, then you lose a life because the answer says Sarah is innocent. Horrible logic game

Response from developer

We truly appreciate you pointing out these glaring errors with specific examples. It's clear that the clues you encountered were fundamentally broken, making the game unplayable and frustrating, and we are very sorry for that poor experience. Please know that we have taken your feedback seriously. Our development team has performed a comprehensive check and has fixed these specific types of clue-answer mismatches in our most recent version. Ensuring that every clue is logically sound is our top priority. It's our goal to provide a fair and enjoyable logic puzzle game. We hope you might consider trying the updated version to see the improvements for yourself.

Clues aren’t accurate

Some clues don’t make sense, which totally defeats a logic game. If a clue is “ all diagonal neighbors are innocent” how were two guilty? Lost that level immediately. This game isn’t well made

Response from developer

Thank you for pointing out this specific example. It breaks the core logic of the game and makes it impossible to solve, which is incredibly frustrating. Our team has since conducted a thorough review of all puzzles and has identified and fixed these illogical clues in the latest update. The clue you mentioned, along with others that didn't make sense, should now be accurate and reliable. We sincerely apologize for the poor experience.

Garbage - fake ads & lazy writing.

Go download Clue Master instead. This is a cheap ripoff. The ads completely lie about what the game play is like. The clues are poorly written so it’s super unclear which people are supposed to be guilty vs innocent. They didn’t even format the text correctly - every person has things like “gendermale” and “occupationnurse”. I really hope they’ll actually put some time and effort into the game - the ads make it look really fun and like it’s a different spin on the Clue Master concept - but until then don’t waste your time here. Super disappointing. If the devs actually read this - go make the game you advertised!! THAT game would be so cool to play - you clearly have good ideas, but you need to do more than just lazily rip off another game!

Fun so far

I’m enjoying the logic aspect of it. One minor complaint is that you have gender: man and then gender: girl. Why not woman? When I see girl I think young, and having clues that say a child is innocent, for instance, throw me off when I see girl but it means woman.
