Fantastic!
I have just downloaded this app and like so many “free” apps you are ultimately faced with making the decision to make a purchase or not if you want to use certain features. There are very few “free” elements available but you can make a very basic logo/badge.
I paid the very realistic price of £2.99 so that I could use the app to its fullest capabilities. I must point out this is a one off payment rather than being an annual renewal or even a monthly subscription which is common nowadays. This puts me off a lot of apps as I tend to think oh well I can do that on my laptop and have greater freedom of design.
At first I was rather disappointed as I thought this app was very basic but once you select a badge, background or font it open up another menu where you have a wider choice.
You can change the font, frame and background colour, opacity etc to give pleasing results. I will be using this for my business to draft some personalised goods which are now going to be fun to create on the go.
One thing I think the app developers should implement is haptics so that you know when your font and frame are perfectly positioned as it is a little hit and miss. This will stop me using it for final designs as it is important for text etc to be perfectly aligned. There is nothing more disappointing than making a logo and when you print it you can see it is not fully centred. I don’t know how easy this would be for developers to add but if they did I would most certainly give it 5 stars.
