What's New in LogShow

1.2

April 23, 2026

LogShow 1.2 is a major update packed with new log formats, smarter tools, and Pro features. 3 New Log Formats Syslog RFC 5424, Windows IIS W3C, and JSON logs (Bunyan, Pino, nginx) are now supported — bringing the total to 6 parsers with auto-detection. Syntax Highlighting Raw log entries are now color-coded by field type: IPs, timestamps, HTTP methods, status codes, and severity keywords. Toggle it on in Settings. Save Log Sessions (Pro) Tap the bookmark icon to save any log view by name and reload it later — perfect for logs you revisit often. Full Screen Mode Hide all controls for a distraction-free reading experience. Tap the expand icon in the bottom bar to enter. Export Logs Share your filtered or full log results as a .log file via the system share sheet. Filter Improvements Each filter chip now has its own color. Suggestions are pulled from the actual content of your loaded log — real IPs, status codes, and paths appear first. SSH Host Key Verification The app now uses Trust-On-First-Use (TOFU) verification. You'll be prompted to accept a server's key fingerprint on first connection; subsequent connections validate automatically. Bug Fixes & Performance Smoother table updates, DateFormatter caching, paste fixed in the URL input field, and action buttons now correctly animate with the bottom bar in full screen mode.
