About

LOKA is a geo-tagging app that connects you with the stories, experiences, and insights hidden in the world around you. A cultural landmark, a secret eatery, hidden graffiti, an ancient tree — every place can be part of a living map: tagged, shared, and discovered by everyone. DISCOVER WHAT'S AROUND YOU See what people have tagged nearby — as a feed, on a map, or through your camera. Point it at a tagged place and its story appears right where it belongs. TAG THE PLACES THAT MATTER Photograph a spot, tell its story, and pin it to the living map for others to find. Every tag becomes part of your neighbourhood's memory. SHARE BEYOND LOKA Send any tag to friends as a photo with a link that leads them straight back to the place — ready for chats, feeds, and stories. EXPLORE TOGETHER Join spaces — shared collections of tags around a neighbourhood, a theme, or a community — or start your own. WORKS WHERE SIGNAL DOESN'T Somewhere remote? Keep browsing what's loaded and keep tagging offline — LOKA syncs everything when you're back. Every place has memory. LOKA helps you find it — and leave some of your own.

What's New in LOKA

2.0.1

July 13, 2026

Sharing comes to LOKA — and the whole app got calmer, quicker, and tougher. • Share any tag beyond LOKA: a clean photo with a short link that leads friends straight back to the place — ready for chats, feeds, and stories. • Take LOKA off the grid: browse nearby tags and keep tagging with no signal. Everything syncs when you're back. • Add photos from your library, and keep the ones you shoot in LOKA. • A better camera: steadier flash in low light, wide-angle option, cleaner controls. • Quieter, clearer feedback throughout, plus plenty of small fixes and speed-ups.
