Not worth your time,
I had this for a year. No success. This is not different, This is more like every other dating app where you had to basically swipe, and you get no responses despite having everything they’ve asked me completed. This app has a good concept, but it’s VERY badly executed. Plus, the IG page never had anything new since Valentine’s Day. It’s a complete failure, and a complete waste of time. Might be quitting soon.

Refreshing app
This app is a great concept and clearly has improved from the 1 star reviews a year ago. Deserves a higher average rating. I love the idea of meeting up right away and it literally makes it impossible not to have that intention. I also love that I get 5 matches a day and then am forced to stop swiping. Helps un-gamify the dating app. Could use a couple tweaks, including adding availability more than 5 days out (some of us are busy!) and allowing you to skip the part of the dating review that forces you to choose what you DIDN’T like about the person (most of the options aren’t relevant!). I’m grateful for this app.

I’ve used this app daily for months and don’t get any matches. Not sure what the problem is
Glitchy app
Tried signing up and couldn’t get past the first step with the verification code. Tried about 3 times and it kept saying the code was wrong even though I was typing everything correctly. Please work on the UX design of this and app functionality before you have your marketing girl on TikTok promote this faulty app. Was looking forward to it as well because I loved the concept.

Does this app work? Registered about a week ago and nothing, it stated the wait is 48hrs, it’s been longer and for some reason it keeps making me enter my phone number and start the process again. Is this normal?

Legit this whole app is just basic white women. Can yall market to other demographics? I went on a date with someone that was "surprised I spoke well."

I’ve been using this for a while and compared to any of the other dating apps, this one doesn’t result in any matches. I’m not sure how their algorithm works but it still needs a lot of work

Really great concept, I’m loving it
I’ve used Lola for a few weeks now and I can say it is totally different than any other dating app out there. Tinder, Hinge, Bumble they’re all the same, just people wanting to boost their ego but not actually date. I’m so sick of it. Lola gets that. They’re trying to change the dating game for all of us out there just trying to find someone, real.

Great for dates in Boston
Love this app so far!! Been on 2 dates through the app and they were both great! Love the way this app is set up, I’m so tired of non stop swiping just to never actually go on dates. Recommended it to all my friends and anyone looking to find dates in Boston area.

Most people can probably relate to hating dating apps but spending so much of your time on them. I’d been stuck on Hinge and Bumble for YEARS just trying to meet new people! Instead I was being ghosted or spammed with weird messages from people who never actually wanted to meet or go on a date. I downloaded Lola a couple weeks ago after seeing some ads out of desperation and have already been on 2 dates! ☺️ They have a feature where you choose what day you’re free so you can plan what night your date will be ahead of time, which is good if you’re busy. And I didn’t realise but you can mention how the date went after the fact, which is a cool safety feature and hopefully will make my matches better in the future. My only issue is that right now I’m getting a small number of profiles a day. But it is just starting up so hopefully that will change with time. I love this idea and hope more of Boston downloads!!!

This app is not diverse
I don’t usually write reviews. I was on this app for months and never made it off of the waitlist. The reason was simply because I’m Black and not straight. I reached out to the developers and they wanted to make “special considerations” for me and wanted me to seek long distance connections instead of local ones. I’m mad I wasted my time with these racist losers.

I’m not typically one to leave a review but I feel as though I have to voice my frustrations with this app. First I live less then 50 miles away from Boston but for some reason I setup my account and everything to have it say “we’re currently matching people within a 75 mile radius of the center of Boston” I live right next to Marlborough MA how does it say I’m not in the range. Second the 75 mile radius from the center of Boston most of it is going to be ocean dude. If your trying to find a new dating app steer clear of this cause all you can do is setup an account and wait for others to do it too and they aren’t advertising very much so I highly doubt this app will get any farther then it already has.

Trash doesn’t work
It literally asked for my location where I live in Watertown Boston and it said we’re only accepting people who are 75 mile radius from Boston will be live soon in your area at some point right now why don’t you share the app so it’s saying that I’m not close enough to Boston it doesn’t get much closer than Watertown because I’m in Boston so yeah I’m good on this app. I would recommend staying away the questions are vague

Find people on ur time
I absolutely love Lola. It took a bit of time to get off the waitlist (them saying they will let me know when the app is ready where I am) but it was so worth it. As someone who is really busy it’s been hard to find dates that fit my schedule. Lola lets you just meet people who have your same availability which is so clutch. I personally hate the talking stage where you never know when you will go on a date, but it is so nice to not have to spend time chit chatting about random boring stuff and instead simulate meeting people organically. You know if the vibes are there or not right away, no time wasted.
The only thing I wish they did differently was tell me why I’m on the waitlist or provide a countdown for when I’ll be off it. It would make me more excited about joining instead of just waiting around not knowing what’s wrong or why I can’t go on dates right away.
