I know Police Departments have an increased PR problem lately. I trust the vast majority of police officers don’t fit the mold that many social media sites promote. Social media tends to divide people. I just now visited this site for the first time. Sorry, but there’s no proactive content here to help educate the public and turn around the PR problem. Surely it’s hugely difficult. I know a few police officers personally and I know how how hard a job it is, and I can tell that the job can sour one’s opinion about social issues (troubled youth, homelessness, race). Among friends I speak positively about the role of police, about the vast majority of police officers, and about how tough and how scary any day’s work might turn out to be. That’s a drop in a bucket, tho. I don’t know how, but much more attention needs to be paid toward PR, and it’s got to be constant. I have so much respect for 1) the people who join and want to help the city, 2) the challenge of communicating the reality of being put in harms way every day.
So, nothing really helpful here, but just a spontaneous show of moral support. I fully expect it’s pretty rare. It’d be great if you could show me I’m wrong about that. 👍🙏🏻🇺🇸

Why bother LPD?
Completely disfunctional app.
As a nurse I have to keep in formed but
When you look at the most wanted it doesn’t show everybody also when you send tips to the police department they don’t take them seriously and they don’t come out to respond and investigate the criminal acts that are being committed.
Current notification Null & Void Wrong Language
I try to click the star with # of notifications, and it will not open. I go to ! Notifications and there is not current information. Only bulletin does.
Also, I find it offensive that based on my location the information bulletin is only in Spanish. I do not speak, nor read Spanish. Useless app.
