Allows disgraceful scams
Having ads that get in the way of the app is one (bad) thing. But this app allows scam adverts that pop up and say things like “Your phone has been infected” and say that you can’t continue using your device unless you download a clean-up app. (Of course, this is not true. It’s a scam.)
This is disgraceful and I am surprised that Apple allows the developers to do this. Some people will be alarmed by these scam messages and will pay for a service they don’t need. Such scaremongering and con tricks should be stopped now.

What Happened?!
This app used to be great, was always a go to when needing to check times. Now? Constantly and consistently behind. Seriously, sort it out.
The ads make you mad
You have to close the app quickly to avoid having to suffer ads that cover the screen. With each update the app gets worse. There are better ones out there.
Timing is horrible
Everytime I check the bus app my bus always comes 5 minutes early or 5 minutes late no in between. Very inaccurate timings that I can’t predict

Fix this rubbish app i miss 2 bus because this amazing app said the bus stop is close but in reality was open!!
too many ads - unusable
awful app. having to see a 30 sec/1 min unskipable add every time u open the app is unbearable.

This bus checker used to be the best. Now it’s rubbish. It used to show a map with the bust stop on it. Which made it really easy to find bus stop. Now it’s no longer showing the map, the new way it’s being done is absolutely rubbish. I hate it
Difficult for non-Londoners
I used to use this app extensively while in London. Now that I’m back I can find any basic info about the bus I want to use or find the optimal bus to use. I’m probably going to stop using it

Hate this app with a passion since they put ads on it. I don’t have TIME to wait for advert to finish when I need to know NOW if my bus is due!! Damn you
Terrible relaunch
Returned to London after 3 years away. My fav bus app now ruined. Too many ads and pop ups. Will have to use TFL instead

This app is useless
Endless adverts make it almost unusable
The ‘new and improved’ version is much worse than the original. Being forced to watch yet another of the ubiquitous adverts for some pointless Crazy-Bird type game for at least a minute before being able to cancel it makes this app useless at exactly the moments you most need it. Graphics are also cheap & nasty compared to the old app, and some of the old features have been made unnecessarily complicated.

Used to be really useful, now fairly unusable.
I’m not sure if this is run by the same. Developer, sold to a new developer or the company sold to a new owner but whichever it is, they have turned an indispensible part of my travel toolkit into a useless ad clickbait trap.
A modest fee would be preferable to this.

No longer usable
This app used to be great. Now it either shows buses that never turn up or doesn’t show buses that do. You might as well guess for all the good this does now. It’s been like it for about a year and I’ve finally given up hope it will get back to how it was. Deleted.
The bus invariably arrives before the ad stops…
And that is saying something considering the London bus system…

The ads ruin it
They should make a paid version and get rid of the annoying adverts which really spoil this app for me. Just want a simple bus times app, not one that throws up annoying adverts most times I need to check the bus schedule at a bus stop. Removing this app!

Bring back the Watch app
The old London Bus Checker had a Watch app that was perfect: nearby stops at a glance without getting out your phone. I can only assume it was canned because the phone is where the ads get shown. But there's no indication that if I shell out to stop the ads there will also be a Watch app. Also, the interface is generally much poorer than the old app. Disappointed.

App unusable because of ads
Agree with previous people. Don’t mind ads. But an ad every single time you try to use, and multiple times per session makes it impossible. A shame because it could be a great app. But don’t bother.
