London Kitesurfers (LKSA) brings regularly-updated wind forecast, tide and safety information for every kitesurfing spot within a couple of hours' drive of central London - from Hayling Island in the west to Frinton in the east. Know which beach to head to, and which to skip, before you leave the M25. WHAT YOU GET - Interactive map of every south-east coast kite spot with a colour-coded verdict for the next 7 days. - Hourly wind-direction map on each spot - scrub through the day and watch the arrow, tide state and off-shore-wind flag update in sync. - Tide-zone day-strip on spots with community-observed tide thresholds: grey early / late session, green kite window, amber "wing/foil" or red "no kiting" for high tide. - Detailed forecast per spot: peak wind, direction against the beach, tide window, hourly breakdown, safety verdict. - Water-quality signals from the UK Environment Agency + pollution-risk alerts. - Groyne + tide-height warnings for spots where high or low water can be hazardous. - Off-shore and cross-off wind days clearly flagged, per hour. - What3words launch address + community reports for every spot. NARRATIVE FORECAST - DAILY and WEEKEND Tap the top-of-map headline strip for a full narrative. A segmented Daily | Weekend picker sits above the scroll so you can flip between them at any time. Each day card is a condition-tinted bubble (green / amber / red) and mentioned spots tap-through to the native spot page. BEACH TRIP PLANNER Line up 1-3 candidate spots for a target date. LKSA auto-picks the best for the wind and bumps you to #2 or #3 if the primary drops out. - Live Activity tracks wind, verdict and next tide on the Lock Screen + Dynamic Island. Server push keeps the tile fresh every 30 min with the app quit. - Pre-drive reminder 15 min (configurable) before you leave. - Optional Calendar mirror covers the whole out-and-back window. - "I'm back" archives the trip and offers to log a session from Apple Health. SHARE MY FAVOURITES Settings to Share sends a compact caption plus a lksa.uk/f/[codes] link. The unfurl preview refreshes each time it's opened.
