The whole reason I got the app was to guarantee the price, and prevent over paying due to construction or drivers not knowing where they are going. Without that you may as well just call. Oh and be sure to make sure you aren’t charged a fee for ‘waiting’ some drivers like to say they there early so they can up charge you while you are standing out waiting for them.

Don’t even bother! NOT worth it!!
I would not recommend Yellow Taxi Service to anyone. First, the driver didn’t even pick us up at the designated location. Instead, he made us cross the street to meet him, which was incredibly inconvenient. But that wasn't the worst part. We were overcharged during the ride, and on top of that, we were double charged—once in the taxi and again through the app. When I reached out for compensation, all they offered was a gift card, which was nowhere near the value of what I lost. I’ve never had such a poor experience with a ride service. Uber is much more reliable. Do yourself a favor and avoid Yellow Taxi!
