Events calendar?
Using version 2025.24 and the event calendar doesn’t come up when clicked. The library location link directly above works but not the calendar.
Great Library, Frustrating Login Issues
I truly love the Long Beach Public Library and everything it offers—the staff is excellent, the programs are enriching, and the range of resources is outstanding. However, the login system needs serious improvement. Whether using the app or logging in through a browser on a computer, the system often fails to recognize the correct barcode and PIN. I even called the library and had my passcode reset. It worked once, then stopped working again shortly after. This makes it difficult to access my account or manage checkouts, which is disappointing considering how great the library itself is. I really hope the technical issues are resolved soon so the digital experience matches the quality of the in-person services.

Love the access to digital library
The app works so easily and I love that I can quickly go to the digital library and get in to New York Times or other resources. I can see my checkouts, renew easily.
Almost perfect
This simple interfaced app is super handy and useful for interacting with my library check outs and holds. The barcode feature is cool and placing books on hold is a breeze. My only problem with the service is it has yet to save my checkout history!! 😭 I check out a lot of books and often so it would be nice to see my history (even some graphs or classifications of the info RE: checkouts would be so cool). Will this be fixed?

the new version is user-friendly and more intuitive. love being able to use the barcode scanner to see if they have the books in their system.

Works like a charm. Super accessible and user-friendly. My one hope is that they add a wishlist or something because I’d love to have a ready list for all the books I want to read!
What happened?
I was so happy a few weeks ago when I realized this app was (FINALLY) updated, but today, I've gotten "cannot connect to catalog provider" error message all day. What is happening?
Was great until a month or so ago
Trouble logging in, and if you do get it is boots you off after about a minute or two. Needs severe updating.
Just what I need
I can renew books, view my account, search the catalog, etc. very handy app
Convenient but...
Great for book searches etc but it would Venice to access other services like Freegal so I can download free songs directly to my itouch instead of to my pc then have to transfer it.
