Needs support for numbers more than 5 digits
I’m a former math teacher, and this was the ONLY app like this that I could find. I use it extensively (and the others in the suite) to teach my own children who have disabilities related to fine motor control, and therefore can’t do long division on paper. The one problem is that it maxes out at 99,999 and can’t do calculations with numbers bigger than 5 digit. Would LOVE to see an update that changes this. Also, the font size is small and even on a iPad Pro 12.9”, some of my kids with vision issues have trouble seeing the numbers.

Unsecured
Your website is unsecured. Please fix it so that people can feel safe. I hope your app is safe too. Other than that problem, I like your app. I will check back again. Thank you.
Do not buy
If I could, I would give it -0 stars. This is a robbery, it is useless,it does not say if the result is wrong.
Helps me with School
Im struggling the most with math and its long division. This app helps me so i can learn more! I am 9 years old
Good
This long division tool is great - the format is just as I remember - and will be a help to my 9 year old daughter.
Wow! Teaches long division well
My kiddo hated and avoided learning division for two years. Finally, I got her all Esa Heltula division apps. She started ASKING to do her long division apps, and was a whiz in a week.
This app
This app doesn't know how kids are thought today so basically it stinks
Amazing
I never learned long division like this ease
Not a lot for the price.
The app does what it says okay, however it gives you the answer in the form of randomly generated numbers that you pick the right one from rather than figuring it out yourself, which is what a real problem will have you do. And the price is quite steep to me for a one function app. Other apps, such as the ABTC calculator let you perform many functions, break down each step, and are much cheaper.

Response from developer
Thank you very much for your feedback. There have been 9 updates to the app after you left the feedback 5 years ago and there have been no other reports of problems with the app not loading. Please contact support at support@idevbooks.com or leave feedback at idevbooks.com website next time you have a problem, and I will promise to help you find a solution.
Great!!
Excellent!! This really helps my son. Would like to see capability added for emailing solved problems or saving a solved problem set.
Great apps
I use the long division, long multiplication, column addition and column subtraction apps with my special education students in grades 1 through 5. I have my iPad connected to my LCD projector and we go through problems in their math books step by step. The kids love it and complete to see who can get the most problems correct. My district is looking at putting iPads into more classrooms and I hope they will include these apps.

2 thumbs up! A must have app. If you have 3-5th grade children. Can you add sound?
Awesome
I am 11 yrs old and I have trouble with LONG DIVISION and this helped me a lot I heard of this app because my teacher asked another teacher if he had downloaded it so as soon I got home I told my mom if she could buy it I luvv it
Finally!
Exactly what I was looking for my daughter (4th grade), I wanted a step by step operation process for her to learn? I purchased 2 other "step by step" apps that did not do what this one does. Finally I hit the jack pot!
Long Division
Ever have trouble teaching a child to do long division? Then this is the app for you. This is the best educational math app out there! All of my students are now very successful with long division. I love the 'flexibility' of it. It provides step by step support for those who need it, and as the child's understanding increases, the 'extra' supports can be removed. Awesome! The support of the developer is also awesome. Within days, there was an update to fix a 'glitch' we found. Thank you!

Awesome!!!
I was having trouble with my long div and I had a test the next day I practiced on this app all day and I got an A+ on my test!!! It is sooo great!!!
A terrific math learning tool!
Long Division is a fantastic tool for teaching kids the (sometimes complicated) steps of dividing. It carefully guides you through each step of long division and helps you understand the entire process.
The settings screen has a ton of options so you can adjust the difficulty to what's appropriate for your child.

This app is an excellent reinforcement of the skills in completing a long division problem. My students love this app. They are working, learning and having fun all at the same time!!
