Perfect control over music
I moved to another MacOS system and wracked my brain to remember what app did Music in the Menu bar. I finally found it and glad I did. So usefule.

Love this lightweight, functional app! My only wish is that it would work better with Apple Music Radio (e.g. One, Chill, etc.); currently it will only show “Apple Music Chill - “ and never update the artist or song unless you click on the title in the menu bar each time the song changes. Slight annoyance, but other than that, a great addition to macOS!

Exactly what I was looking for
I wanted an app that displayed the currently playing song in the menu bar but also allowed me to search my Music Library without having to open/unhide the actual Apple Music app. Looking Glass does exactly that and even has global keyboard shortcuts (hotkeys) to call up the controls you need with no mouse interaction. Perfect. Thanks a lot, from one developer to another.

Great app
It's a great app that I use in substitute of the official buggy music scrubber from macOS.
Only knocked a star down because I wish the rewind button took me back to the start of the song (like the Apple Music app) instead of changing it to the previous song.

Perfect! The Missing Element of Apple Music
I love Apple musinc but they this app makes the easly realtime sorting/rating of songs SO MUCH EASIER than the default Apple Musinc UI.

Thanks for the feedback. Have you got any particular suggestion? Would you like a more Music-like layout with tabs and pop up screen for now playing? The current concept was to provide search, love and add to library with the fewest number of taps, but I’m open to suggestions. Awesome App
Great way for me to see what artist is playing at a glance. Customizable to list Song Title or Artist first. My use case for this is with all the music I listen to it's hard to remember which artist I like when I hear their song come on. Clean minimal and highly recommended.

Works perfectly but missing few key features
The app does exactly what it says it does, and it makes listening to music – with the main app hidden – a much better experience as I do not have to constantly keep opening the app for any reason.
That being said, I've only rated 4 stars, as it could do with a few extra features that would make this app the best of its kind. Firstly, I would like to be able to click on any of the 3 items at the top (song, artist, album), to take me to the respective place in Apple Music. Secondly, I think it would be a good idea to have a list of the few most recently played tracks under the current playing track.
Lastly, I think a few more customization options would bring a better user experience, things like, being able to disable the media control buttons (for users using any Apple keyboard they are unnecessary as media keys are built in), and customization of the order displayed in the menu bar (e.g., song – album, or album – song, or artist – song and so on).
Apart from these missing features, the app works great, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who likes to hide the Apple Music app while listening.
(Also, there's 0 battery drain for anyone who's conscious of things like that)

Simple and Effective
It does exactly what I need it to do. Nothing more and nothing less. Plays nicely with Bartender and has the added advantage of running on Big Sur. I'm happy!
