About

Step up to the loom and turn a bare warp into finished cloth. Loom Handweaving is a calm studio for floor and table weavers who like to design, plan, and weave from one place. Begin in the draft editor, the heart of the craft. Lay out threading, tie-up, and treadling on crisp touch grids, then watch the drawdown recompute the instant you tap a cell. Pinch to zoom into dense patterns, pan across wide setts, and choose warp and weft colors to preview the real fabric before a single thread is wound. When it is time to sit at the bench, switch to at-the-loom mode and follow a highlight that advances row by row so you never lose your place. Bring your fiber under control in the stash. Log each yarn with its content, grist, yardage, source, and a color swatch, or add a photo from your library so every cone is easy to spot. A swatch wall lays your whole palette out at a glance, and low-stock markers warn you well before you run short. Plan with real precision in projects. Enter finished size, sett, take-up, shrinkage, and loom waste, and the warp calculator returns total ends, width in reed, warp length per end, and warp and weft yardage. Assign stash yarns to warp and weft and see at once when a piece needs more than you hold. Learn as you go through a grouped glossary, a step-by-step guide to dressing the loom, and an assistant that answers weaving questions and can read your own draft for context. Save loom profiles, set your units and default sett, and export any draft as a clean notation image or a repeating cloth swatch to keep at the bench. Four sample drafts, from plain weave to twill, are ready to open and edit. Wind on, throw the shuttle, and explore what your loom can make.
