About
The LooperRoom application (app) is a mental health app for both clinicians and patients. They have 2 separate logins.
The patient login gives the patient access to weekly assessments for anxiety (GAD-7) and depression (PHQ-9) as well as a chatbot that has been developed by psychologists in collaboration with an AI software development team.
The clinician login gives clinicians access to a dashboard that displays patient data collected through weekly assessments and chatbot conversations. Clinicians have access to all chat logs (patient interactions with chatbot). LooperRoom’s AI-driven software synthesizes and analyzes patient data and updates the graphs on the dashboard. The graphs of the dashboard provide valuable data to the clinicians that can be used for clinical assessments and treatment planning, as well as measuring treatment progress over time. During crisis situations such as suicidal ideation, the chatbot validates feelings and reminds the patient that it is not designed to help during a crisis and encourages the patient to talk to a mental health professional. The chatbot then provides resources such as calling 988 (National Suicide Lifeline). A red flag notification will be sent to the clinician’s dashboard for each crisis incident.
The app is a supporting tool for psychotherapy clinicians, helping them collaborate with their patients on treatment progress and treatment planning both in and out of sessions. The app does not issue diagnoses or provide diagnostic advice.
In addition, the app will collect data for LooperRoom’s longitudinal research study.
