You're going to like it or you won't

Try the free version then if you don't like it delete it. I think it's a great app. I probably have all the packs since I've had the app for 4? Years now. I would like some more packs that have some loops that have less going on in each loop. That way it would make it easier to experiment with some more basic beats that I could add onto later. Thank you great app.

Needs import to be useful.

Well designed but can't compete with apps that allow you to import. And I can't FIGURE out why it's not universal. They're obviously much greedier than Propellerhead. And we're on iOS 8 now.

Yay!

This just became a bit more useful! How's about letting us import and export our own loops now??

Brilliant App – Desperately Needs Import

A great concept, great execution, and an innovative iPhone design. But it's COMPLETELY insane that it doesn't make any attempt to let the user actually create with her/his own loops...as does every other music app out there that respects the creativity of their users. I would be MORE than happy to pay for the privilege, if that's what it takes. Loopmash Pro. How hard is this guys? Steinberg can have BOTH demographics. But please. This has great ideas we would LIKE to be able to USE. Withholding our ability to genuinely create only makes you look churlish. Thnx for your attention!

Expected A Little More From Steinberg.

Most desktop/laptop DAWS have ways to achieve this type of effect nowadays but Steinberg has really made it easy with this app. The UI is really great too, easy to navigate, appeasing graphically and the controls are nicely spaced which makes this app very useful in live performance situations. With that being said I feel that without the inclusion of audio cut and paste, audio import/export and midi support this app is not very useful for those of us who want to integrate it into our workstation. Steinberg has been one of the leaders in the pro audio community for many years now and I find it surprising these options were omitted. If your looking for a app the manipulates loops in a way that no other iOS app does this will give you hours of enjoyment but if your someone who uses their iOS devices as an additional tool in their overall pro audio setup this app is not quite ready to fit that spot. Hopefully these features are added in future updates but for now it will remain a fun app to play with as a time killer. Unlike many reviewers who give apps a 1 star rating and bad reviews for things it's missing, I rate an app for what it is and for what the developer says it should be and this app works great and does exactly what the developer says it should do so I give it 4 stars.

Love this

I love playing with this app. But I would love to have the ability to cut and paste into studio HD or others to take it to the next level. Will that be in the next update? I hope so.

Incredible...But Useless W/O Import/Export

This app is fun to play with. High quality design, the possibilities seem endless. But why would I want to explore said possibilities with someone else's music? Unless there's an update coming with import/export, I'd like my money back. Check out something like MiniMash if you want to work with your own music. Just wish MM was as well-built as LoopMash. Oh well, delete.

This is a toy dude get real

Wast of money grr

Loop Mash is Loop Marvel

This app is sooooo much fun and is highly addictive.

The experience and design of the app makes me feel like a pro.

Who knew I could spin.

Love it!

I likey, but a few issues

Cool for quick and dirty beats but would like to see ability to input own sound files and rhythm sequences in addition to the minor changes that can be done now. Export would be nice.

Loop Mash

I own C5 and C6, which has LM. This would be great if I could transfer the beats. This appears to be geared toward those who have not purchased C6 and designed to wet their lips with a taste of the real program of which I love. It's the Bomb. Save your two bucks and put it on the real thing for another $600.00 dollars. Or fly to Europe and save two dollars. I hope I didn't burst Juniors bubble? I purchased this just to comment. :0!

I had a chance to "Mash Around". If you want to waste time, get this piece of crap. This is worthless. It should have been free. Shame on Steinberg.

Export?

The lack of export and cut/paste isn't just an annoyance. Its a fatal flaw. Without it, this is just a toy. Fun but limited for music creation.

Best loop mangler yet!

The most creative and original way to mangle loops to generate something new that I've ever seen.

Almost makes me want to go buy Cubase 6 ;-)

Fun for what it is.

It's a nice port of loopmesh for the iPhone. You can't expect studio-grade software on a mobile platform. $4 is a good price.

Just random

This should be a 99 cent app. There isn't a lite version so let me describe what it does. You choose some loops and adjust some sliders that produce random changes to the mix. No matter what you do you are going to get techno/electronica. This app is pretty useless and only fun for about 5 minutes a session. Maybe I get bored easily I don't know.

Nice technology

These guys understand audio processing and music like few others. I don't find the UI and approach intuitive whatsoever. But I think the core concept here could be quite powerful.

Just needs better iPad support

This is quickly becoming my favorite music app. Very simple to use but definitely has some learning curve to it. It's geared towards beginners in that you can just play with loops til you get something you like. The more adventurous will play with the additional settings and will find a lot of value in what is offered. A definite must buy for those who like to make music on the fly without dealing with overly complicated interfaces.

All I ask is better support be added for the iPad. It works within the smaller window and works when blown up but having the app run full screen natively on an iPad would easily make this five stars for me.
