It runs on a computer you own. The engine — free and open source — installs on your own Mac, reads your iMessage, Gmail, and calendar right there, and works your open loops in the background: comparing prices, drafting replies, watching for the mail that closes a loop. This app is the window to it. THE HONEST ASK Loose Ends needs a Mac that stays on. Setup takes about ten minutes, two of them yours — the setup wizard does the rest and proves every step. No Mac? Try the built-in demo and see the whole app on sample data first. WHAT COMES BACK • The stack: every loop you're carrying, ranked, with the reason it surfaced written on it • Moves, not chores: a drafted reply, a filled cart, a decision framed with real options and real prices — you do the final tap • Receipts everywhere: every finding cites the messages it came from • Closure questions: when the evidence says a loop finished, it asks — one tap ties it off THE BUZZ CONTRACT Your phone buzzes for three things only: an answer on an end you added, a deadline inside a day, a drafted move ready to send. Everything else waits quietly. PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE There is no Loose Ends cloud. Your messages never leave your hardware; Google access runs in your own one-person Google Cloud project; the AI reads under your own Anthropic API key.
