Influencer marketing and too much push for pay
I tried this after seeing this on my feed enough times. Influencers are given free credits and/or promos, so their experience will be completely different from yours.
The app is fine; perhaps it tries to do more than it needs to do. I have not bought pattern guides in-app because I have enough patterns to work through. I tried to convert one of my pattern PDFs into a pattern guide, but it proved more labor-intensive than I originally thought, and just gave up. I especially gave up because I realized this would also charge one of my limited tokens.
I do like the row counter, and the ability to use a project’s row counter on top of the imported PDF file. I wish I could mark up the PDF in this setting, or add notes on top of the PDF for pattern modifications.
The most incessantly annoying obstacle of the app is the constant notifications encouraging you to buy premium. I get random notifications and see it every time I open the app. I think the app is OK so far, it hasn’t proven itself worthy or vital enough in my knitting to pay for it, and the developers are pushing for money too quickly before developing a standout product. My frustration at receiving my 10,000th notification to upgrade to the paid premium service engendered this review.

Une maille après l’autre 👀
J’ai pu enfin tester l’application sur un projet entier et *quel bonheur* de travailler avec l’application. Je la recommande actuellement à tous mes proches ayant une affinité de près ou de loin avec des aiguilles ou des crochets. 🌼
Les petits points à améliorer qui rendrait l’utilisation encore plus pratique :
1- sur le widget de compteur de rang, ce serait top de pouvoir arrêter le chrono aussi (d’ailleurs quand on a des rappels de rang, il y a un poti bug d’affichage)
2- je n’ai pas trouvé, c’est peut-être possible mais ce serait top de pouvoir importer un projet sur Raverly aussi (j’ai déjà fait l’export dans l’autre sens).
Merci à l’équipe de développement pour ce beau projet, et merci de rendre au tricot l’élégance qu’il mérite !

LOVE this app
As a beginner knitter, this app is so helpful with breaking down patterns and helping me keep up with where I am. It is super user friendly and aesthetically pleasing.
The only downside is that it drains my battery so quickly and my phone is super hot when using it. I find I do need to take breaks to cool my phone down.

wirklich empfehlenswert!
Ich nutze die App mittlerweile seit Januar und bin wirklich begeistert. Egal ob man nur seine Reihen tracken will, oder die Übersicht bei komplexen Anleitungen bewahren will, die App ist genau richtig. Selbst wenn man sich keine Schritt für Schritt Anleitung erstellen lässt, kann man in den Projekten immer durch einen Klick in das zugehörige pdf gucken und den Überblick behalten. Durch die Möglichkeit seinen Ravelry Account zu verknüfen, spart man sich das doppelte eintragen seiner Projekte und seines Stashs. Außerdem sind die ganzen zusätzlichen Funktionen, wie der Zu-/Abnahmenrechner, das Glossar etc. wirklich praktisch. Auch wenn die Apps am Anfang einige Bucks hatte, ist sie mittlerweile wirklich empfehlenswert!

Great in theory, alright in reality
The features of this app are great, in the way they are intended. It doesn’t work very well if at all without WiFi, sometimes when you pause the timer and go to unpause it toggles straight back to paused and leaves useless 0m logs behind, and half the time the buttons for the row counter or pdf don’t show up until you reload the app 3 times. Unfortunately most of this started happening after I already paid for a year of it. It’s unfortunate because I love having my stash saved in here and saving info about projects so they don’t get left as endless WIPs when I forget where I left off.
