When adding cameras to this app, the app glitches out every single time this app is worthless. Don’t waste your time.

I tried it because the old Lorex Cloud app will soon not be supported in the MAC. Once I figured out how to log in with the ip address, Device Name = serial number; Username (the one used to logint the pvr); Password = the password used on your pvr. It worked on my ipad and iphone. Check out Youtube for help. I didn't do that, but it would have been easier.

Lorex has never used this app
Lorex has never used this app to watch footage and download events. I am a Lorex pro installer and cost is the only reason why I use this system. Very unintuitive.
App Issues
I spend almost 5k between cameras and installation. I’m not happy at all with the app most of the times couldn’t see a few live shots cause the image doesn’t load even when my phone connects it to wifi. The developers has to do better with their app

Not sure why this app has such a bad rating, this has worked perfectly for me.
Needs serious overhaul
Used both LOREX apps, classic & pro including the NVR software. Wish the pro was more like the classic app, but with pro features. Pro app & NVR software is convoluted & overly complicated, video playback is lacking, I have missing videos, I always have to view them from the lock screen notification, going into the app they don’t show.

pip support
I don’t understand the negative reviews. It works and is way better than the other Lorex apps. My huge problem/request would be to support pip (picture in picture) So I can keep one having one cam feed on my screen while doing my other works on my phone. It would make it 5/5 app
This app is terrible
This app is terrible. I leverage cameras that are all wired into the NVR which then wired into my router. I can be local to the network and the cameras still time out and won’t connect to them when alerted or real time. It’s the same when traveling, trying to look at a notification of activity. This app is not reliable other than for notifications. You can’t actually view the footage or look into the live view.

Useless!
The app is a complete joke! The cameras seem well built but the app is useless and it doesn’t seem like they care about making it better
Requires Text for Icons
All icons in the app should have small text underneath indicating the function. Not intuitive at all with just icons. also provide descriptions of each feature in the app within the feature selection.
Needs Improvement
I’ve used the Lorex Classic App and still do with 1 system that I own. I upgraded another system that requires the Lorex Pro App and I’m not as happy with it. I set up Motion Detection on 3 of my 8 cameras with Push Alerts. You have to click on each alert in order for them to show up under Events under each camera. In the Classic version, you could just go into the App and view all Events under each camera. It’s too time consuming to have to view each event for them then to all show up under Events when I just want them all in one place and to be able to view them whenever I choose under Events under each camera. Also, 1 camera doesn’t even record Events correctly even though I have the area drawn and the sensitivity set to 100. What should be an upgrade has led to disappointment.

App Will Never Notify
As a CCTV installer, Lorex has been a nightmare for us. We get nonstop complaints from customers about not receiving notifications on their phones/tablets as expected. We have since dropped Lorex equipment and moved to UniFi’s platform instead. It’s a shame Lorex never updates this app with bug fixes!!

Very Unreliable App — Not Worth the Price
This app constantly fails to connect, even when all my cameras are online and my phone has full Wi-Fi signal. I’ve tried everything — force closing, restarting — and it only works sometimes. Most of the time, it just doesn’t connect at all. For a security system that costs over $1,000, this is unacceptable. The hardware may be good, but the app makes it nearly useless. Lorex really needs to fix this.

Privacy on / off missing
One important feature is missing . It’s not possible to disable a camera with a click of a button. Also , I’m missing the easy feature ( stop notification by selection the notification icon on the image itself .. this is present on the Lorex cloud app , but my new device is not compatible with Lorex cloud ). Honestly, I find that the Lorex cloud app is far better than the new Lorex pro . I really hope that Lorex is working on making the Lorex pro better . Missing feature , look and feel is not that good . Yes better for sharing past video and screen shot , but all the rest is lower compared to the Lorex cloud app. Please Lorex , do something …
Also missing geolocation ( home and away ) . And the notification only appear in the app if you click on the notification banner when it appear. It’s been couples months now , and still no new version of the app. I would really appreciate if you could add more features on this application. The hardware is good ( camera and recorder ) but the Lorex pro app need more features ( it really making the good hardware less convenient ) please do something as soon as possible. Thanks

4K 30FPS
I love the Lorex products BUT! I am unable to view my 4K Halo series at full resolution on IoS 26. The cameras are the H30 4K+ 12MP.
Underrated and misunderstood
Lorex professional line of NVRs and cameras, in conjunction with the Lorex Pro App are just top notch. Most standard users can’t grasp the system because of all the features. You do need to understand CCTV tech to appreciate and properly rate Lorex and the Pro App. Too Notch and a must have your your business surveillance needs

Definitely needs improvements
The app looks nice, that’s about it. No notifications pop up on phone. Second connection is horrible most cameras don’t connect. System should let you save your display to show how many cameras.
App Suppory
I have an iPhone and I can not get my settings to save for push notifications. It looks like a known problem however I’ve had this app for several months now and still no fix. Can you please fix this issue. I use this for my business and I want to be alerted when something is going on.
