Lost ability to reliably modify reservations online

This app used to work pretty well. But recently it has frequently failed when I’ve attempted to use the feature to move a reservation to a different date or the feature to reduce the number of players for an existing reservation. It then just says that I’d need to phone them to accomplish either task. But other times it still works. They need to fix this to consistently operate.

Why are the phone numbers now rerouted to a call center??

They list direct phone numbers to the courses but they redirect them to a call center somewhere overseas and then they have to try to get a hold of the course!!!! Absolutely asinine and typical of LA to do such a stupid thing

Spinning wheel of death

Are the bots back???

Fix the app for crying out loud

Why is the price of Woodley at twilight still not corrected to the same start time as the rest? It’s been going on for a couple years now.
And why don’t you actually make the app useful by actually using the all the buttons and links work properly?
Why can’t we just make payments to the yearly membership in the App?
Which means that the website needs an update!!! This is so typically LA, clueless with its oversight about any kind of maintenance of anything with the city!!! Hopeless!!!
Last update in 2025: what did they fix???? NOTHING!!!!

Why is this App still so primitive

Why can’t somebody update this App. It’s so primitive and amateurish

Buggy

Wouldn’t load the page to pick courses, today.

App would not retain my credit card information

Following this app’s systemwide update at the end of the year, the app on my handheld Apple devices would no longer remember my credit card information, even after I re-input it. At the same time, I had no problem using the app on my computers. The credit card information was retained there. I finally solved the problem by uninstalling the app on my phone and iPads and then rebooting those devices and reinstalling the app on each of them. After that, I still had to re-input my credit card number, but once I did that, the apps finally retained that information. I got no help whatsoever from the people working the reservations phone line.

It works more or less

It’s not as bad as people are saying it is. Yes it has a few problems but generally speaking it does what it needs to do which is allows you to book teetimes online without that much hassle…What more do you really need?

Update Leads to Access Denied

I just updated the app and now when I tap “Book Tee Times”, then tap “I have a regular player’s card, I get a blank screen. When I tap refresh, I get an Access Denied error. Thank goodness the website via a browser still works.

Novice App

I don’t know who created this la city golf app. My advice is don’t quit your job with city gov. You won’t survive on most private tech companies.

Great app

Book tee times, accurate on-course GPS, scorecard, etc. good app.

Doesn’t really work on iPhone

Left and right arrows appear but with no images between them, links don’t trigger, etc. That we have an app is great and we’re looking forward to seeing it mature as time goes on, but it’s pretty glitchy 5/2019.

Barely Functional

It looks like they rushed this app to the App Store without finishing it. Individual courses have little or no info, no aerial views, no photos etc. I cannot find where to enter my player card info and could only register for a tournament. Perhaps future updates will finish this bare bones and incomplete app.

Good start, needs much more

Just the fact that the City has an app is a huge step forward, however, it is lacking many functions. Most annoyingly is the app will not keep you logged in and can not find a way to log in unless you do a search for a tee time. If you just want to see your pending reservations, you first need to do a search so you can then log in and see pending reservations. Also, still no way to see how many points you have (only possible to see on a receipt when playing).

Horrible!

I have an account and can make reservations online, but can’t do anything with this useless app!

Barebones but it’s useful

This basic app makes it easy to book tee times from your phone. My biggest complaint is that the login credentials are not retained very long even if the “remember me” selection box is toggled at login. Adding Face ID capability would be even better.
