Past Time for an Update! And Metro’s trying to encourage ridership...?
Rec'd a message that an update was available and seems the version that's been on my iPhone for several years is still the latest... When will the next update including the Santa Monica station be available for download...? If Metro wants people to use the system - they've got to be a bit more current and proactive.

Out of date
Downloaded, opened, immediately deleted. Incomplete Gold Line at least two years out of date. Useless for trip planning.
Useless app that is out of date
I deleted the app five minutes after installing it. The app immediately complains about not being supportable on the latest iOS and needs to be updated by the developer. The app developer is in the U.K. with British word spellings sprinkled about. I highly question a company's ability to provide what customers want when they have no clue what the transit system does well or doesn't do well on a daily basis. If you don't live in the city and have to cope with the transit system how can you possible know what we want or need from the app?
The app doesn't have the latest routes. Months and years out of date.
It has no event information, like delays or route changes or closures (which I experienced this morning and was looking for a source of updated route availability info before I embark on my afternoon trip home).
It has no ability to sell you tickets or passes or provide basic info like how to ride.
These are all basic fundamentals of navigating a city transit system in any city in the world.
This app doesn't even qualify as a beta.

What good is a so-called transportation app that fails to provide ARRIVAL and DEPARTURES times of said vehicles providing the transportation services? I don't care how much thought was put into the design it still fails at the basic lower (no brainier) level without the schedule(s). Fix that and then you're in business.

Needs an update
App needs an update. It doesn't show the new extension to Santa Monica yet on the expo line

Will you be adding the Santa Monica metro line on the map?

This app is hard to use and has no timetables. Also, it doesn't have the new line to Santa Monica. Don't waste your time with it.

Excellent Map
Excellent map, app was really easy to use and plan routes with, an invaluable tool for navigating Los Angeles!
Non-intuitive
The overall map is great but this app is not a good planner compared to other regional metro-apps out there. It's basically as bad as the actual app provided by LA Metro. A system as affordable & efficient as LA's should have better apps available.
No times or timetables
This app shows maps but does not give the times as to when a train or bus is departing so you can make your schedule. I just end up back on the website. Unless there is an update with the schedule of the trains and buses, I will not see the need to keep the app.
What good is a route planner if you need a map to use it?
This is extremely hard to use and you'd need a separate map program to use it anyway. Totally useless.
