Why ads now?
Suddenly there is an ad after every level. USED to be an enjoyable game. Sigh…..
Uninstalling. No longer fun to play.
The new update makes game play tediously slow. More importantly, there are intrusive advertisements after EVERY board. My recommendation is to support a vendor that understands their user base.
Why?!!!

UPDATE: Scam! I paid to remove ads but I’m now getting ads again and can’t remove them. This was clearly the point of the update. Of course Apple doesn’t provide a way to report the scam.

I’ve been playing LfWs for over a decade but the new update feels like a bad clone of the original. The graphics is uglier, the TEXT is tiny now making it hard to read. The feels like a completely unnecessary destructive change. I wish Apple didn’t force us to update the apps.

Used to be good
I used to love this game and played all the time. Now it’s just full of spelling errors and wrong info. Kind of hard to get a word when the letter isn’t there, then you realize it’s just because they spell the word wrong.
Conan
Never choose the category entitled Conan. I have reached the point where I can’t go no farther, all the choices are Conan only, and when I play and win, the counter stays at the same number. I don’t go up another level I just play the same level over and over and over and over again! I have no more data disc and it’s been forever since I’ve gotten a free one. Used to love this game. 🥹

Get so far freezes and purchases not reinstated
No app support you get so far and each of the catagories freeze so you go to the next catagory which freezes and then you cant use the game - the purchases you make are useless and if you delete and reinstate the app it gakes you back to the very beginning and wont give your purchases back - you end up doing the same catagory over and o ver again and there is no way of contacting them to get help - but was grsat whilst jsing it up to this point

Used to love this game…
…but now I’m on an endless merry-go-round of music rounds and that’s my least favourite subject - haven’t been offered anything other than music for months.
Lost for words
I love playing the game, however with the new iphone14 the camera in the center of the top blocks the words I am spelling out. Please adjust the viewing area for the new phones and the rating will be higher. Thank you

Great game, but it doesn’t fit on the iPhone 13 screen properly.
Love the gameplay, developer unresponsive to issues with purchases
I love the concept behind this game, and really enjoy it. Had an issue with a purchase and couldn’t get a response from the developer (only reason I took off a star). Otherwise it’s one of my favorite games. Being able to find other words to charge your batteries makes this game much more enjoyable- I can solve categories I know nothing about just by finding other random words to charge batteries or find parts of the answer.

Awful ads
I really enjoy this game. However, the ads are worse than ever before. I’m trying to relax and I get an ad with man raping a woman. My kid plays this game sometimes. I really don’t need my child seeing that, nor do I want to be seeing that. I can’t even give this app a decent rating due to the disgusting ads it throws in my face.

Closes on its own
Would give this 5 stars, but the game shuts down every time I try to choose Pizza Toppings.
fun but crashes
I absolutely love this game, but every time i open the pizza toppings category my game crashes. it also crashes at random times. if they’d fix these little bugs it’d be perfect
Good
But not great. Too many glitches and even incorrect spelling/typographical errors that made it harder. Two of the glitches threw me out of the game completely. Towards completing the game (not actually possible because of the ‘throw out’ glitch) it regularly offered completed subjects that just made matters worse. Finally had to give up after having enjoyed the game overall. Not very satisfying after a lot of effort.

Misspells words
Not only does this app miss spell about 10% of all the words, but it advertises inappropriate porn. Would not recommend for adults, let alone older children and teens working on spelling.
