Cut off content
Purchased this app today for a Lost Person Behavior class. When using the app for an exercise, I came to learn almost all of investigative questions and search reflex tasks are cut off, I.e. the text extends beyond the edge of the screen, and cannot be read or expanded. This happens in both portrait and landscape mode. This make the app less useful than the book. There needs to be a way to expand this information. So the whole text is readable or make the font scalable to fit the areas.

There is nothing out there like this. Strong recommendation. Used several times to find people.
Extremely Useful
I am a volunteer for a search and recovery group and have participated in nearly 100 searches. I read the book, found it useful but not convenient. The app is always with me and easy to check. A year or two ago I was frustrated after a search, bought this app, then compared its ideas to two recent searches. The app was spot on, and likely would have allowed us to find the remains in half the time. I have since recommended it to other searchers and iits nearly a standard piece of equipment.

Good info but…
The information is great. Reviewed in case studies after searches. However, this could be much more useful if you could input data and build a victim profile that can be shared among your SAR team. Please make this more utilitarian.
Essential search & rescue data
If you are a S.A.R. manager or volunteer, this is money well spent! Have been using this app since its creation, and before that Bobs LPB book. I couldn’t imagine running a S.A.R. op without it. Brilliant!!
Great Tool with pertinent info for planning
A great tool with the core information you need in the field. It should be seen as a “always with you” complement to the book. This is not a replacement for the book, which has much more than the subject profiles. Get the book, take the class (if you can), then get this app if you are a SAR operator.

Not what I expected
The book the app is based on is great and very useful. The app provides the same info but in a less user friendly format. I figured for $10 I would be able to enter real life search info in and get charts or maps with search info. Buy the book or the app but not both. I definitely feel like I wasted $10. Luckily I appreciate the work that went into the book so I'll chock it up to money donated to a good cause.

Lost Person Behavior
As a search and rescue instructor and practitioner I can't stress enough the importance of understanding LPB. The LPB course is outstanding and the LPB book, and now the app, are an invaluable tool for those in the search and rescue and law enforcement field.
Doesn't help direct or communicate rescue information.
I do not know who to engage and how to usefully organize information so that my lost children can be rescued.
Bottom line: I have found nothing but frustrating dead ends in my attempt to rescue my children.

Great app
This really is a helpful app it would be great if you could choose what country you were in but maybe the stats wouldn't change that much. Im new to this app but so far it's really helpful. Please keep updating. 👍 thank you.( SAR Team in UK )

LPB review
Excellent tool and compliment to "the book". Allows quick assessment direct from phone to crews for initial planning and emailing info to crews in field. Already used with great success.
