LoTAC stands for Low Temperature Altitude Correction. This App uses the methods stipulated by ICAO Doc 8168 in order to calculates the altimeter corrections required when flying in very cold temperatures below the International Standard Atmosphere Temperatures. The App menus and submenus are straight forward, designed for versatility and fast operation.

What's New in LoTAC
2.0
October 14, 2025
The release 2.0 is build for a better user experience. In the main tab there are now collapsible menus to focus on what is important. This version allows the user to create as many final approach segment crossing fixes as desired, as well as its graphical representation. In the Airport details submenu, it has been added a fetching METAR function. A new tab for atmosphere properties in accordance with ISA ( International Standard Atmosphere) has beed added for reference. In the more info tab, it has been added a submenu for a better understanding of what the app is doing. In the Snowtam tab, the decoder for the EUR Rodex has been optimised.
