LottoBook is a reference for people who play the lottery and would rather know
what they are buying.
It does not sell tickets, take a wager, or pay anything out. It has no system, no
lucky numbers, and nothing to sell you about your chances. What it has is the
draw history, the exact odds, and the one figure almost nobody publishes: what a
ticket is actually worth tonight.
WORTH PLAYING
Every drawing ranked by what a ticket actually returns, after split risk and
after tax. Every one of them returns less than it costs. That is the nature of
the game, not a bad night, and the app says so plainly. What genuinely changes
from draw to draw is how much less, and a rollover can be worth three times what
an ordinary draw is.
THE NUMBERS
Frequency for every ball, over 946,528 real draws across 88 games. The grid is
built to show you that frequency means nothing: a fair game renders as a wall of
identical cells, because that is what fairness looks like.
Counts are scoped to the game's current rules by default. Powerball has been
seven different games since 1992, and an all-time chart mixes in draws from a
smaller drum where the higher balls never had a chance to appear.
PICK NUMBERS
Five ways to choose, and the app tells you which of them do anything. Four do
not, and say so on the card. The one that does is Least Shared, and it does not
improve your odds either: it avoids the numbers people pick by hand, so a win is
less likely to be split with somebody else. That is a real effect and a modest
one, and the app reports the small true number rather than a flattering one.
CHECK A LINE
Check any saved line against any past draw. For California games it reports the
real pari-mutuel amount paid at that tier on that specific draw, which is not the
figure on the national prize chart. On one recent draw the chart promised
$1,000,000 for matching five; California paid $125,670.
For states that publish results but not payouts, it reports the tier and no
dollar figure, rather than filling the blank from the wrong table.

Colorado, Washington, North Carolina, Louisiana, Virginia, Maryland,
Connecticut, Delaware, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Nebraska, Missouri and
the District of Columbia. Every matrix is derived from a state's own published
history and checked against it, rather than copied off a marketing page.
