Impressive, but some bugs still
Health, back on track.
America Needed This!
The clinicians have also been outstanding. Dr. Aravind Mani, Dr. Neil Bhalerao, Dr. Rishi Kumar, Dr. Adam Shurbaji and Dr. Francisco Halili have all assisted me, and every one of them has been fast, helpful, and consistently exceeded my expectations. I’m genuinely a huge fan of this platform. It’s an amazing blend of smart technology and exceptional clinical care! I love and respect the story behind the founder KJ Dhaliwal’s inspiration to start this journey having immigrant parents visiting doctors offices year after year and leaving even more confused and him having to try and interpret it to help them better understand it. So he developed a platform to simplify medical terminology such that the poor health care interpretation was no longer an obstacle as well as free to all and easily accessible clinicians!
This pointed out items my dr didn’t mention
Amazing Dr and Care Taker
It helps me on days where I am tired by reminding me how important rest is and encourages me when my body’s ok track to recovery.
Will it replace a Dr at this stage? No. But I am not paying stupid copays for a Dr I see for 20min and that has no where close the data that Lotus can sift through.
If you look to be healthy and stay that way. Get this app!
2 Elephants in the room.
Under the hood after testing it.
The Core AI: Anthropic (Claude 4 / Opus 4.6) The "Guard" Layer: Fine-tuned Llama-3-Med or Med-PaLM 3 / Orchestration: Pydantic AI + Langfuse/ Hosting AWS- Fireworks ai / Infrastructure RAG, AWS, GCP, Pydantic AI, Baseten.
The Two Elephants
The Burn Rate: Chaining models multiplies costs. A single patient profile often hits 100K tokens before the AI even "thinks." God forbitten someone has the bad idea to use open claws and to start asking questions at scale, it could easily incinerate $41M in 5 months. Note: Phone registration won't stop bots; professional AI Agents bypass SMS walls daily.
Affordability: To break even, your subscription would need to be ~$450/month. Telehealth visits cost $35–$75. If "Lotus AI" costs 10x more than a human, it’s a non-starter. Remember, OpenAI loses money on GPT at $200/month.
Word of advice from an AI Developer: Check in NYC other companies that are developing AI Doctor. Check them how they do it, and most importantly, Vertical integration is the only moat.
If you don't own the weights or the infrastructure, you don't have a moat, you just have a high-interest loan from Anthropic.
Excellent
Very simple and intuitive to use
Lotus AI is changing the world!
Not iPad friendly GUI
Exactly what I’ve been waiting for!
personal care, right when you need it
Good idea but I have concerns
Insights into your health
I invested in Lotus because I believe in this future of healthcare. It’s harder and harder to find a primary care doc, so at least now you can augment your knowledge with this powerful ai.
A health app I can trust
It’s hard to imagine a world where the majority of Americans are not using this app one day. A personalized doctor for everyone - me, parents, neighbors, friends, grandparents, and coworkers. This will help humans take control of their health.
