Incomplete App
What’s on the display photo is all that’s offered. Adding Fishing/hunting license & laws would make this app more useful. In fact, making the app an extension of the official website should be the goal.

Can’t buy a license
If you want to provide an app look at what other states include in their app. Ga and Fl allow you to buy and view hunting license and fishing license online. Also check in deer and turkey harvested. View the seasons and limits with sunrise and sunset times. Look at the previous reviews of this app , people have been complaining about these issues for years.

This app is no good for a LDWF app!!!
Please go check out the Mississippi Wildlife and Fisheries app to see what one should look like. This one has no season dates, bag limits, license info, or nothing. Nothing about “Fisheries” at all. This is basically a high school biology class app. I’m uninstalling. It is of so little use.

LDWF App
This app is not what it claims to be !!! On my app I cannot pull up any type of fish. All that is available is Waterfowl ID and Snake ID nothing else. I'm currently looking for an app that works.
Don't look here for fish
Downloaded this app to find info on fish bc that's what shows up in the information window for the app. Waterfowl snakes and boating are all listed. No fish. Guess they rather write tickets for fines than actually post information to keep people fishing legal species and sizes.

Three months? Really? Does it take that long to update the info on an app? If the LDWF is going to have an app, then please back it up with current info. I can google Louisiana wildlife and get better info than is currently here. I want rules, regs, and the ability to purchase licenses.
Disappointed
I ran the update hoping that the apps explanation that the outdated information was to be replaced with more useful information for hunting season. That was September. Here we are two days before Christmas, a month left in the water fowl season, more than half way through deer season, and still no useful hunting information. To be precise, there is no hunting information at all. Is it safe to say that someone dropped the ball on this season or should the explanation have read that the data was being reworked for the 2015-2016 hunting seasons and that wording was somehow left out?

No need to panic
I was worried about the fact that the latest update removed all the hunting and fishing resource information, but the explanation was that they are re-vamping the app to be more user friendly and to update all the outdated info (for example, all the waterfowl dates were from last season). I'll reserve judgment until they had it completed.

There's nothing about hunting on here. No duck, deer, dove nothing. Very poor.

This app was great until this update. Would've been better to just fix the incorrect information rather than just remove all of it. Patiently waiting, sometimes when out on the water you don't always have cell service to look things up on the website
Great app but outdated regulations
Very useful idea for an app from LDWF. Just wish they would update the hunting and fishing regulations to reflect 2014-15
