These two men clearly have hearts after God, giving scripture based advice on a wide range of interpersonal topics, most of it pertaining to marriage. It has made a huge difference for me as a wife and mother and even daughter to hear reasons behind mine and my husband’s behavior. Every time I listen I am enlightened, edified, and encouraged, and left with actionable advice I can - and do - use. God uses their words to soften my heart and make a way for Him to do His work in me. Going through and working on these things, albeit on my own, has helped me “get out of God’s way” so He can do the work He needs to do in my husband. Even if your marriage and relationships are already in a good place, I can not recommend this resource enough.

The only way we are gonna make it
My husband grew up in a divorce family from when he was very young. He lived with his dad and brother and struggles with what to do with women in family life. Especially starting porn at 12. Although he was entertaining before marriage he has no grasp on being a husband.The love and respect logic helps me understand his perspective. It's also amazing to me to see the perfection God had planned for us before the fall. Thanks for the podcast.

You can feed your negative spirit or your positive spirit. Whichever you feed the most will win. I bounced around listening to these podcasts, but finally decided to start from the beginning. It's only been a few weeks and I am already on podcast 40. It has enabled me to move from being miserable, to happy and excited about being married! I will continue to listen and share this podcast and all the literature that goes with it!

Our marriage needs help!!!
After nearly 20 years of marriage, we now find our marriage, simply put - just cohabiting. Over the years of being a stay-at-home mom of our two beautiful children, my husband worked to provide the only source of income. When our children became more independent and with my husbands initial support I started college. I wanted to be able to help support our family financially by doing something that also helps others. From the very beginning, I gave it all to GOD knowing that He has a plan, my faith and trust is what got me through college. When I started college at the beginning of 2013 as a full-time student, I received my AA in General Education last year. As doors closed and others opened, I was able to go one more year to then receive my AS in Business. I look back now and realize just how much time was sacrificed while attending college from our marriage and family. The problem is now, we both have acknowledged that we have lost nearly every aspect of our marriage, and that we both are ready to start working on it. After I received an email from Love & Respect, I forwarded it to my husband, downloaded the app, and started listening to the podcasts. He has been able to listen to a few of the podcast while at work when he is able to. However, I feel that we need something that we can read, take notes, share, and work on together. We are not ready to give up, but I feel we both need to be on the same book, same chapter, and the same page to make our marriage whole and as one again. Thank you for your dedication and wisdom in helping others. I pray one day our marriage too will be a testimony to the truly blessed Love & Respect family and to others!

Life changing
The Love and Respect concept in all relationships has truly been a blessing in my life and relationships. The down to earth, spiritual insight is something to apply to your life. I found this after my marriage was failing and subsequently failed, but it is still wonderful information to carry forward with my sons and future relationships and also allows me to help others.
