Pretty good at first but now literally unplayable
Too much storage, it’s asking for an update and I don’t have enough storage on my device to install it. This game is literally the ONLY game I have on my iPad as of right now, and I can’t free up any more space so this is all I can work with. I can’t play without updating the game either, so now I can’t play the game at all.
One minor complaint: why did y’all get rid of the N cards? The characters from the N cards were pretty cool and I’m pretty sad they’re gone now.

Error.
Hello, while I’m pulling for the free cards but next day I tried to log in and download the data and it not worked, it said error. But I did clear cache and it worked but it downloaded the mostly of it while being 7.09MB un-downloaded. Can you please fix this bug. I’m not sure if there is anyone else experiencing same the issue. I love love live. It taught me how to be myself and listen to what others think of me. I always thought I would be assigned a role for my entire, but thanks to love live I am a really sparkling and heart pounding star. DO NOT SPEND MONEY OR INVEST TIME INTO THIS GAME This is the global version, which already has a shutdown date, before it EVEN released. March 31st (2024) is it’s shut down date. Have fun while it lasts. For the actual game, well i’m not a fan of Love Live or these types of rhythm games, honestly don’t like it. But if your a fan of either this series or this type of rhythm game, maybe you’ll like it. If you wonder, “why even release it if it’s going to shut down?” To milk money obviously. The only place it’s shut down notice is on, is on their Twitter. It’s sad because I was excited to see what this was, to only be dissapointed about the game, and it’s business practices.

i've followed love live as a series since 2014 ish... i was so excited for this new game and it gave me so much nostalgia to see the beatmaps are the same as they were in the first game. however it breaks my heart that this game is shutting down so soon, and it's kind of unfair that there's absolutely nothing in-game indicating that it is - if you didn't download it with prior knowledge you'd never know. i miss the old LLSIF and while this game is great, i hate that i can't immerse myself in it the way i want to since EOS is so soon :(( genuinely heartbreaking

Downloaded the game mainly to put out another PSA Review that the game is due to be terminated at the end of May.
Felt obligated to say this because, much like many others pointed out, there is nothing regarding the End of Service anywhere to be found in the store description or even in-game.
I don’t think it needs to be said, but just in case: DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS GAME!!! Play the game until its death, I know I’m going to, since I like the Love Live franchise a great deal. But I can’t imagine spending a single cent on this game due to its mishandling by the devs and corpos.

love this but the connection errors are ruining it
as a huge fan of love live and love live school idol festival1 this game is a pretty solid predecessor, i'm happy the song charts for the previous songs stayed the same, the long hold notes were the only thing that required me to take some time to get used to, as much as id love to say i prefer the old style for it, i am very used to it now, tho it would be cool if there was a skin you could change it to that looked a bit more like the original game, as much as i love this game i am very upset that i keep getting connection errors almost consistently everyday where i cant gain rewards for clearing the song, half the time it doesn't even clear the song and just saves nothing from my play through, but regardless it will always take my lp which is frustrating when i'm using my scouting gems to refill it and it gets wasted with almost nothing gained in the game, i normally just have to stop playing and wait a while and keep trying to play until it finally stops, this is ruining my experience, i feel like the old game had a lot less bugs that got in the way of my gameplay and enjoyment of the game, id like to be able to play whenever i want not when the app decides i can, outside of that i am a huge fan of the game and pray they change their mind and decide to keep the game up, this game means a lot to me , please improve!! i want to love this game like i used to!!

if you’re new to the franchise: don’t bother
the game will be ending service at the end of may. even if it wasn’t, this game is a pretty lackluster way to be introduced to the idols and the music, especially compared to similar modern-day rhythm gacha games. i’ll be sticking around because i miss SIF1, but if you aren’t already invested with the characters and music, i just cannot recommend this game.

no warning about EOS in-game
this game had its release date and end of service date announced in the same random post, end of may. it’s bizarre this isn’t plastered all over the app, especially for the store. people who didn’t see that post might not know any money they put into it will not be accessible in 3 months. the unfinished UI and spelling errors, lack of censorship with people’s usernames, poor formatting, is honestly embarrassing. i waited so long after SIFAS was taken down, only for SIF + SIFAS global replacement to be a self destructing garbage fire. no idea why it took so long to release this game. who cares about data transferring my accounts, that were several years old, for a game that is about to end. just disappointing.

out of sheer morbid curiosity i sacrificed 9 entire gb to download bushiroad’s magnum opus: school idol festival 2. this game sure is something. it’s…fine, when it wants to work. if you’re able to ignore the fact that the original sif was killed off for this half-baked game that’s ending service 4 months after it’s global release, it’s almost playable! feeling nostalgic for simpler times? don’t worry! you can look at some pictures of your old cards (if you’re so lucky), and surely in these next few months you’ll be able to work your way back to that rank that took you years to build up! rest in peace, school idol festival. you’ll always be famous, girl.

SIF was a big part of my teen years and I made so many friends from the community that I still talk to to this day. It makes me sad that the game is closing down right when it opened.

Release an update saying you won’t cancel because right now it’s just misleading to users who don’t know about the cancellation. I loved this game before and want to spend money but guess what I can’t because it’s ending in 3 months.

as some one who played since 2015 this is legit trash i can’t believe they terminated such a good game for this travesty. the scouting makes no sense why group in all groups into one?? what possessed you guys to do that. also, there’s no joy in idolizing a card when they give you what they’ll look like! like okay thanks what’s the point now just an obligation at this rate? i’m still so ticked off on the scouting 3,000 gems??? it used to be 50 with a higher chance of getting a character I WANT i’m only into muse and aquors not the new gen ugh

Limited Time
The game just came out and is already shutting down. They killed two other great games for this and now we can only play for four months! What’s the point? I played both SIF and SIFAS since their launch and they were much better games.

Idk why they couldn’t just update the main game. I lost my account I have had for 11 years. This game looks great and so much more modern. I love the new scouting and item collection. I just wish I didn’t get reset. The game play is super nice and smooth, the art is awesome and in my opinion better than previous.

Love the franchise but not this game release
Please do not spend your money in this game as it was already announced on X through the official global account there that the game will end it’s service in May. JP servers will also shut down then. I think it’s so scummy they’re still pushing paid content in the game for its short life span. I was an original SIF1 player and the rhythm style gameplay is like no other. I was so excited for this release only to be slapped with the launch and eos dates in the same announcement. Such a huge letdown. Will not be playing this version of SIF or supporting the publishers in any capacity.
