I’ve been using this app for like 5 months now and I’ve had minimal issues. And no ads or online requirement is peak.
Issue with rotation
Trying to click the rotate button while playing a game gets it stuck in an infinite loop of switching orientation and nearly soft locking the device

With custom git service providers now supported, this just makes developing love games for mobile an absolute pleasure. Great stuff!
Surprised this isn’t more popular.
I dont use it as much as before but it is really good for beginners.
Awesome tool
I am using love2d studio to code my game on an IPhone and I am very impressed so far. If I could ask for one function it would be find and replace. The rest is awesome! Thanks so much for this!
Nice Tool and great Support
Had a lot of fun playing around with this, making small experiments on my lunch break at work. Planning to do something more substantial with it in the coming weeks and months.

Great app - editor could be improved
I really like what this app offers. My only gripe is that I think the editor lacks many features other gamedev apps like codea have such as dedicated indent/undindent, parathesis shortcut buttons, no searching within code. There is also no way to close keyboard when editing. If you could improve the editor experience borrowing features from apps like Codea, this would be my primary gamedev IDE

Pin to Homescreen DOES NOT WORK

The update broke Balatro
I only use this app to play Balatro from my Steam purchase and it had been quite good except the buttons being at the top right corner. But the latest update totally broke the game for me. It no longer launch the game in horizontal mode. The hidpi no longer works either so extremely blurry and I can’t see the texts anymore. I am not a developer of any kind so I have no idea how to fix this.

Really cool that this exists. I can run my programs on my phone just by syncing to GitHub really quickly all for just a 2 dollar one time purchase. Can’t really complain!
My one extremely minor complaint is that I typically use codeberg and would love to be able to sync with that rather than only GitHub.

Editor needs work, otherwise a good app
After 20 seconds of editing, the page will jump a whole screen of text which is extremely annoying seeing as it happens on every single launch.
Apprendre Löve sur tablette
Très content de pouvoir apprendre à utiliser Löve avec ma tablette, car c’était un des regrets que j’avais à l’achat de celle-ci, ne pas pouvoir utiliser Löve. Ça s’utilise bien en split screen avec la documentation d’un côté. Merci !

Good. But can you create a app called “Lövr Studio” that custs free?
Better than nothing
It’s the only app where you can actually code for love 2D . It’s pretty basic but it does the job. I wish it had better iPad support like removing that ugly right side bar that is really distracting or just change the font size.

Able to run Balatro on IPad without ever having to sideload or tether to itunes. Works smoothly.

iOS users have been crying for some good software to be able to develop their games ON their iPhones/iPads without a Mac. Well, now they can. Thanks to marknote effort with Love2D Studio and also LÖVE team :)

Impressive-- 1st Love2D app w/IDE on the App Store!
Kudos to the developer who I believe is the first to bring the programming world of Love2D to the App store! This app functions similarly to the official Love2D release on github in that it lets you import and run Love2D projects. As a bonus, it also includes a mini-IDE that shows you the the code in the .lua files in the project and lets you debug and them. It even allows you to write your own .lua files on the device to make them into .love projects.
The only reason I didn't rate this initial version as 5 stars is that it could use some more of an on device tutorial showing how to use all of its features and might benefit from a larger IDE screen (e.g. half or even full screen size that could be hidden when running the app) and perhaps a "stop" button to halt execution of running apps.
All in all, I greatly appreciate the developers efforts to bring Love2D to the App Store (already available for Android) and to offer it for free. I'd highly recommend it to those who use Love2D in addition to those interesting in learning .lua and the benefits's of Love2D's extension of lua with its graphics and multiple other handy features.
