Scam - paywall bait and switch
Bought this years ago and loved sending fun messages for free. Now nearly all of them are locked behind a paywall charging crazy fees for things that used to cost nothing. Will NEVER be paying for this.
Horrible app
After trying for over an hour to login and seeing “try again later” I finally gave up and deleted it and reinstalled. Same issue. At least the box looks okay on my wife’s desk, even if it is a just a brick.
Works but needs work
App UI is rough at best. Very inefficient. You pay subscription but still have to pay to use colored text. Very little updates to frame/images that you can send.
Scam
After they rip you off for $100 for a device that doesn’t even have usb c. You have to spend an extra $50 yearly subscription to to send some messages this app and box are complete rip offs.

Works well but they definitely need a search feature. It’s painstaking to find things to send
Subscription not working.
I’ve been trying to reach out to support but they simply don’t reply. Bought 2 lovebox during V’s Day with lifetime subscription and it’s simply not active in the app. They don’t reply to emails so for now, I’ll leave as a 1 star until this is fixed.

Free Features very limited
I enjoyed using this to send messages to my wife while at work, I tend to schedule all my messages as it is more convenient to do that all over the weekend, then through the week she will receive my messages. After a month however, I was no longer able to schedule messages to be sent in the future. I discovered that the “schedule message” feature was only available with the premium subscription. I certainly should have looked into this prior to purchasing, that is my fault. I am disappointed however that I already spent well over $100 for the Lovebox, and a simple feature such as this would cost me an additional $50/year. My son was next on the list to get a Lovebox so that I could send him messages and photos while at work, however without this feature being included in the price of a Lovebox, I just don’t think I’ll get another one.

I found that you can purchase a year subscription with 1200 points. You get points from sending pictures regularly. I’m not quite to 1200, but at least there is an option to get a subscription without paying actual money!

I got my wife this box for Christmas and show loves it the app is really easy to use and to understand
Thoughtful words across the miles
Works very well to keep in touch with parents on the other side of the world . Very simple to operate and shows you’re thinking of them.
Great way to remind your spouse the different ways you love them and the little things daily.
The love box is a great way of sending love notes to your spouse. I try to send a note every couple days just to remind my spouse how much I love him and all the little things he does to make our life easier (which are a lot of things around the house as he cooks, cleans and keeps us all running on time, well fed and even does the laundry.
He swears he enjoys these things but I never let him wonder if his work is appreciated by writing little love notes which always list the little things he does which i appreciate greatly.
Love box is sort of a digital post it note. It's a physical vox that has a physical heart that rotates when there is a message.
If your handwriting isn't so great for a message on a post it then this is for you. It will help your marriage out more than I ever imagined. After all it's the little consistent everyday things that build the foundation to any marriage or relationship. Suppose it would be awesome for long distance.

Great but one problem
Love this app no problems ever except after updating to iOS 26 if I edit my home screen at all it just turns the widget for Lovebox completely white. Pls fix so I can continue using :)
college kiddo may be thousands of miles away, but LoveBox keeps us close
College kiddos may be off, across a few time zones and many bodies of water, but LoveBox(es) allows everyone to know they’re being thought of and loved.

I want to start by saying that I love the idea of this product! There is, however, a reoccurring issue when trying to send messages to the Lovebox. Occasionally it will work and they go through but, more often than not, it keeps saying “An error occurred Please try again later.” I’ve tried closing and reopening the app but the same thing keeps happening…Please take a look into this!

Love it, but subscription is thrown in my face
After I paid about $100 for this product, I am locked behind a subscription/paywall to do some pretty simple things like schedule a message and have basic designs available to me. I think that after spending so much money and being CONSTANTLY met with offers to buy the subscription, it takes away from what it is supposed to be; a LOVE BOX, NOT A MONEY BOX!!!!!!
With that being said, this is an amazing gift, especially for people who love constant reminders of affection. Even with my complaints of how the product is monetized, I cannot give this product less than 4 stars because it is really an amazing little thing.

The Box is great and works but during the Ordering Process it was never mentioned that you have to Pay for a Subscription if you want all the Features
Mediocre
After moving out of my parents house, I wanted something for my mother who is not tech savvy in the slightest. This was the perfect way to communicate with her. The product is reliable. My only complaint is that all of the futures are restricted behind multiple layers of paywall’s. The free GIFs that you are able to send are extremely disorganized. If there was a way to search for specific GIFs related to what you are looking for (like holidays, people, or themes) that would definitely be a great improvement.
