Love this app only thing is I wish more questions could be added. But it is a great way to look back at our answers, get date ideas, post memories and milestones, and remember certain dates and things about each other.
Ended up deleting account…
I was excited to use this app, seemed fun with my partner however the app doesn’t run smoothly. When I receive notifications for the questions asked for my partner and then I click the notification to add my response the app freezes and I’m unable to input my response. That’s annoying, so I’ll be looking for another app to use.

Amazing
I’m 25 years old and I’ve never written an Apple review in my life but I literally had to stop in the middle of me going through the app answering stuff to come here to leave a review because this app is so well thought and genuinely one of the best free apps that I have come across so far.
Be less repetitive please!
I use this with my best friend, minus the spicy stuff. It’s a nice place to store info about them, plan upcoming stuff, and come up with “date nights” for us.
**There are some good questions on there that offer insight about us. I appreciate those. But honestly, you notify me with the same questions all the time. You don’t know how many times I’ve been asked how I learned the tooth fairy didn’t exist on there.😅 I know you have many questions on there, so I’d like them to vary a bit more please, and be less repetitive. Thank you!

Pay to play
I’m so disappointed with the recent update. My husband and I loved using the cards to talk about things and get to know each other. We used to get 10 a day but now, you only get ONE card a day before having to pay.
This app was fun to use, so it’s a shame that so many free features went out the window. You basically can’t do anything worth putting time and effort into without having to sign up.

My favorite app
I love being able to scroll down and go back in time through my relationship. As someone with a bad memory, writing a caption for each picture helps me hold on to those moments.
Disappointed as a Long Time User
Like many others, I’m also disappointed that the team took the questions - arguably the ONLY reason why my husband and I use the app - from 10 free questions per day down to only 1 per day. We’ve been using the app for years after I found out about it online, and we would take a few minutes before bed to go through our questions. We fell off a few months ago, and now that we’ve come back to the app, it’s to find out that I have to pay to get the features I used to get. I understand having to pay a team, I do. But you had a great thing and you ruined it. I don’t know a lot of people willing to pay any amount of money for what is behind the plus paywall, and saying that everything is free *if you’re patient* just feels rude. For a lot of couples that are already in established, long term relationship and have already utilized the other parts of the app, the questions are the main draw. I no longer feel inclined to put them into our nightly routine, because before if we got a less than stellar question to spark deeper conversation, we had 9 other chances to get one that was better. Now, if I get a dud question then I’m out for the day. Boo.

Used to be a nice app
Me and my girlfriend used to play this and it was a nice way to connect with each other. Now you have to pay the ridiculous amount of $10 every single month. That is an absurd price to pay for a simple game to play with your partner
Great App
My husband and I have loved the questions and especially used them during dinners to start conversations. However, as time has gone on, the app has been less and less usable without paying some type of fee. At one point, you could use 10 cards per day for free. Now, you can access one card then pay for any further cards. I have deleted the app at this point as we don’t use it often enough to justify a monthly subscription.
Edit: I truly appreciate the kind and thorough response from the developer. I can understand the need to make some type of income to continue supporting this well-made app. We just unfortunately discovered LoveWick when there were more free features and were surprised when this was no longer the case. Although it’s not currently in our budget to add another subscription, I would reconsider in the future.

Great App But Unusable Without Paying

Hi, this is Ali, creator of Lovewick. I understand the disappointment of getting 1 question per day instead of 10 per day on the free tier, but saying that the app has gotten "less and less usable without paying a fee" is so disheartening to read. All content in the app is still free if you’re patient. If a question a day doesn't feel like enough (which is still 300+ questions a year without paying a dime), you have the choice of 3 price points: $29.99 per year (~$2.50 a month), $14.99 per quarter (~$5 a month), or $9.99 per month. This optional subscription covers both you and your partner, so it's even less when you take that into account. We offered the app 100% free as long as we could, I haven’t had a salary for years, and now our small team of 3 has to make some money to continue operating at all. We made the subscription completely optional, so that people who it was really a financial hardship for could still have a positive, completely free experience. Please try to understand that we’re real people, and this has been a labor of love. We’ve only ever had the intention to help you have great conversations and experiences that bring you closer. I hope this provides more context and that you’ll reconsider using Lovewick.
Disappointed with update
This used to be a great app for my relationship, but cutting 90% of the daily free content to push me into a paid subscription feels incredibly greedy. I would much rather there be a dlc of new question bank, but taking away previously free content feels very wrong.
Long Distance
This app is sooo cute and I wanted to have it with my boyfriend but sadly he's long distance and out of country and the app isn't available in Sweden :( Maybe the owners could update that and make it international? That would be really great!

My wife and I have been using this app for the last four and a half years since we started dating. We have used it every date night and loved using it. But not any more! They created a paid membership in order to use the app and we hate that we can’t enjoy using it to get closer on our date nights.
Greedy Behavior
$10 a month to access previously free features? I understand needing to monetize but that’s ridiculous. I’d be less mad about ads between each question.
Too much $
I used to like this app for their 10 questions a day, until they updated and you now have to pay $10 per month to access more than one question a day. In my opinion, it is no longer worth it to use this app. The questions aren’t even that great either
Too greedy
I would’ve given this 4 or 5 stars until they added a paywall to get more than one random questions a day. Half the questions aren’t that great anyway and I’ve had plenty of duplicates. It used to be an enjoyable way to pass the time with my partner but their greediness has ruined a once great app.
Disappointed by the update
My husband and I loved Lovewick but the new update is very disappointing. We have been enjoying the 10 questions a day, generating question to submit for additional questions, and answering questions in the collections to guide our marriage conversations. However, with the update and Lovewick plus we have lost access to some of my favorite features without notice. While I understand the need to create a subscription and the desire to stay ad free, limiting to 1 question a day for free with no access to the collections we were using without notice is very disappointing. Having no notice of the change in structure until we used up our only question of the day has left me feeling disheartened. More notice before the change in subscription structure would have allowed us to have a conversation about financials and see if we could afford a subscription. However, without that notice I am left without access to the features I would like to use.
