About

One question, one answer: when is the next low-water window at your shore, with the exact tide, sun and moon conditions you asked for? ShoreWindow works it out on your phone the moment you open the app, then plans the rest of the month around it. Most tide apps hand you a chart and leave the reading to you. ShoreWindow is built the other way around, for people who walk to the sea when the water lets them: rockpoolers, beachcombers, coastal foragers, photographers chasing golden hour on the sand, and dog walkers whose beach is only reachable at low water. One clear answer, not a chart to decode. WHAT MAKES SHOREWINDOW DIFFERENT • The Tide Window Finder: set the conditions you want (water height, daylight, moon, waves) and it searches every saved shore and every day for matching windows, instead of you reading fifteen tide tables by hand • Every number carries its own station, distance and datum, checked against published tide tables, so you always know what you're looking at • Honest by design: results are called "matches," never "safe". ShoreWindow checks conditions, it doesn't judge access or sea safety THE ANSWER, FIRST • Save a shore and see its next matching window immediately: arrival time, how long it lasts, whether daylight covers it, whether the tide is rising or falling WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL • Tide, sun and moon calculations run on your phone. A remote shore with zero bars still gets a full window • 5,740+ coastal stations across 108 countries, so this isn't a one-country app with the rest of the world an afterthought • Weather and sea-state conditions are the one thing that needs a connection, and you can turn that off in Settings BEYOND THE TIDE • Moon phase, sunrise, sunset and golden hour for every saved shore • Weather and sea-state conditions where the coverage reaches, including a global wave-height forecast • Water temperature where the station measures it SAVE THE SHORE, NOT JUST THE SEARCH • Save your regular spots and skip the lookup every time • A home-screen or lock-screen widget on your shore, showing the next window at a glance • One alert so you don't have to remember to check SHOREWINDOW PRO The free tier always shows you the next matching window at your one saved spot, seven days of tables and curves, moon and sun, and one alert - the core answer is never withheld. Pro adds the full 30-day horizon paged forward a year, unlimited saved shores, the Finder across every shore and the whole month, recurring alert rules, calendar export, and widgets on every shore. Try Pro free, then continue on a plan that fits how often you're at the water. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No login. No tracking, no ad SDKs. Your saved shores and settings stay on your device; back them up (including iCloud) whenever you choose. ShoreWindow only ever sends your coordinates out for the weather and wave lookups you can turn off - never for the tide, sun or moon calculations that are the core of the app. ShoreWindow is a planning aid for the shore. It is not for navigation or sea safety - always use your own judgement and local conditions.
