First of all, why am I getting ads if I paid for a subscription? Second, why am I getting ads for porn? This is bizarre

As far as I know, the Lowell Sun provides me a variety of local news stories I wouldn’t have otherwise known about if I relied on the n my shoe news outlets. I like to keep up on what’s happening in the Greater Lowell Area and this newspaper does just that.

Payed for subscription, but can’t log in…
This app is terrible! For any local news agency to permit such electronic fumbling is counter productive. A very bad disservice to local customers.
Time to Update
This app is old and archaic in its design. The User Interface is terrible. Difficult to find the story I’m looking for.

Cannot deal with the app anymore cancel my account at the end of the month pop-ups are ridiculous. little bit of new news lots of old news been with customer for 45 years

I’ve had this app for years and although I found it somewhat lacking in depth, it was nice to get a quick overview of happenings in Lowell and surrounding area. Now you are charging to read this paper and you should be ashamed of yourselves. I’ve deleted it. Hope your greed works out for you!

Why ads? I pay!
I cannot stand any of the Lowell Sun digital versions and that includes this app. I pay for the subscription but I still get constant pop-ups blocking me from reading the article I started.

Seriously, this app is severely dated. Plus, it’s riddled with ads even though I pay for a subscription. I suggest the Sun make some serious some investments on the app if they plan to keep subscribers.

Where are the obituaries?? The Lowell Sun app will not survive unless it is done properly.
