Rather than applying these operations to photographs, the app lets you type any numeric matrix, choose a structuring element size, and watch the algorithm compute the result cell by cell — every min() and max() step is printed explicitly so the mathematics is never hidden. FEATURES Pixel Forge: Four morphological operations with live step-by-step output. Enter a custom 3×3–6×6 matrix, select a 3×3, 5×5, or 7×7 flat kernel, and run. Morph Lore: Eight in-depth topic cards covering Erosion, Dilation, Opening, Closing, Structuring Elements, Binary vs Grayscale, Boundary Extraction, and Hit-or-Miss. Chrono Vault: Every operation is automatically logged with type, kernel size, matrix dimensions, and timestamp. Swipe to delete or clear all records. OPERATIONS 1. Erosion (A ⊖ B): Output pixel = min over kernel neighborhood. Shrinks bright regions and removes thin protrusions. 2. Dilation (A ⊕ B): Output pixel = max over kernel neighborhood. Expands bright regions and fills small gaps. 3. Opening (A ⊖ B) ⊕ B: Erosion then Dilation. Removes small bright features while preserving the overall shape. 4.Closing (A ⊕ B) ⊖ B: Dilation then Erosion. Fills small dark holes and bridges narrow gaps.
