Poor Functionality!

Only allows transactions on one of my 17 accounts! Ugh!

Face ID Stopped working

For some reason, Face_ID on iPhone stopped working. At first, a message would appear that read, “Face_ID has expired”. Now after re-adding Face_ID in the Security Settings, the app attempts to open with Face_ID, but then just resets back to the Username/Password screen.

Easy to use

Very satisfied

Great App

I use the app all the time. Super year friendly and convenient!

Overview screen

The Accounts Overview screen defaults to a 1-year timeframe. Users should be able to set their own timeframe default option for this screen. Currently, if I want to see an account overview for YTD, that involves 6 taps: More/Balances/Historical/Filtered View/Year to Date/Apply

It seems we used to be able to choose a timeframe for the Accounts Overview screen. Please bring this back.

Liking it now

Update - pretty good, some user error addressed 🥹
Wasn’t saving login but if I close the app all the way it works.
Fonts are not too legible & should be a bit bigger.

More personalization

I understand that my financial advisor is heavily involved, but I wished there was more customization.

Ease

Love that we can add money to our bond fund without a lot rigamarole

Performance

App is overall average at best. One nice addition would be adding in the performance summary rate of return for all accounts and each account individually for tracking progress. This would limit calling my advisor to get those numbers, if provided inside the application.

Account access

Ok. You need to be able to link multiple checking accounts and bank accounts on your own. Then pick which account to deposit from. What a joke.

Deposit

Tried it 3 times before it actually worked.

Linking

It’s hard to keep some accounts linked to the portal.

Lot of issues with UI

Reviewing because ‘support’ takes me TO the app, not feedback ON it.
Not saving anything, have to type all each time. Face ID is on but it won’t use it, clicking that does nothing.
Fonts are illegible & should be a bit bigger.

Great app!

LPL AccountView app rivals any other in the market.

Not crazy about it

I’m a retired LPL rep. I’m used to using websites. This app leaves a lot to be desired. It overwhelms you with info but it doesn’t make it easy to sort through. I asked to look at a statement for a specific account. It gives me all my wife and my account statements for the month in question. Maybe there’s a way to get more granular but it’s not apparent.
Now I know why clients who had access to this app still called me with questions.

Needs negative consistency.

I get using red numbers to indicate negative. But app inconsistently also adds the minus sign. A minus sign is mathematically correct and allows colorblind to easy understand the numbers. For example, main home page doesn’t show the “-“ sign, but the Balances page does. Both numbers are red (I’m told).

Not great!

The app should be light years better than what it is. It offers extremely basic tools and reporting!

Latest update is garbage!

After the latest update, the app is now garbage! It will not let me sign in with Face ID! I have to go thru the login process and two factor authentication. I called LPL to find out why and was only told to delete and reinstall the app… it still glitches!

Not working

App hasn’t worked for me (I’m in Missouri) for 3-4 days. I just get an error that the system is unavailable. I’ve tried clearing cashe and reinstalling the app. Nothing fixes it.

Face ID Failing

App works well when logging in with email and password. Face ID works initially but then subsequently fails when attempting to log in later.
Edit: The same problem is present when using a PIN passcode! “System Error The system is unavailable, please try later.” But this is not true because logging in normally works every time.
