Ridiculous
This app is for advisors only, of which I am. However, it requires me to log on to Clientworks and then go to the app drawer (which I cannot find anywhere) and register the device. Impossible to do and like most other requests, days go by before a response to assistance is received. LPL, get your act together - I’ve been here less than a quarter and you leave much to be desired.

This app is easy to use. Just work with your LPL Financial advisor for easy set up and use if needed. The app works well while on the go.

Finally able to figure out the problem with this app
I assume this application was for LPL clients since the name is planned works. After several unsuccessful attempts to access the app and set up my account, I called the helpdesk on the number listed. The person I spoke with at the helpdesk number explained to me that this application is only for LPL financial Advisers, and that LPL does not have an application for clients to use. When I read the description of the app more thoroughly the App Store it explains this. Would have been nice to know this upfront, and would have avoided quite a bit of wasted time.

What the hell is clientworks? How do you access it? No instructions. I even went to the desktop version and can’t do anything there either. Need a better way to access the app.

Good basic app for financial advisors. Now that clients works is fully supported on the iPad via browser with full service not sure how necessary this app is anymore.
Access is impossible
Tells me I have to login into something called ClientWorks, which i’ve never heard of, and, after some googling and searching, found out it has apparently never heard of me either. Won’t let me move forward at all.
I certainly hope all my money is still at LPL. Because my data certainly isn’t.

Can’t sign into my account
After downloading this app, it’s impossible to gain access to my account.
Vagueness
I downloaded the mobile app and even with the completely vague instructions provided on some “branchnet” website I need to log into so I can register my device, I could not figure it out. A waste of time but not a waste of frustration
Cannot get access
Great app for keeping out the bad guys. Also keeps out its customers. I was unable to gain access to the app. Wants me to first login to BranchNet which I have no credentials. Does not tell you how to get credentials. Way too complex to gain access to the app. Don’t waste your time as I did.

Can't log in
Have to go to Branch net to get log in credentials, but the site says you must have Internet Explorer to access the site. Being a Mac user makes this impossible. Why can't we just use our LPL log in credentials for the app like every other financial institution?

Wow, this is app wins the award. It's outstandingly awful. It provides so little info & an absurdly weak search ability. Heaven forbid I'd get to see my commissions & notifications. Just like Branch Net (which many years ago was state of the art), this is very weak & outdated. Thanks for nothing. Get it together guys!

Can't get it working. No support provided.
I'm rather tech savvy, and I can't get this app to work. It requires you to go to a cryptic Branchnet website, but provides no additional info. No login information (LPL credentials don't work), and no options for support. I'm giving up on this one.

I can now easily access my LPL financial accounts from anywhere! With simple to use technology, it makes it easy to manage my accounts. I highly recommend this app to any advisors!
