I don’t understand why this app exists. If they’re using Ping why can’t we just use their existing application or literally any other standardized TOTP app.
Why does this exist?
There is no reason why LPL couldn’t just use industry standard stuff here. I really don’t even understand how they’ve managed to make this incompatible with every other MFA app. Even the Ping ID app doesn’t work for this.
Can we please just use industry standards..
Another proprietary multi factor app. Why can’t LPL just use the industry standards and support standard TOTP apps that we already have and use. Even better add FIDO2 support. Stop reinventing the wheel..
