About

LS3 Bridge is the phone, team chat and task list for organizations on the LS3 phone system. Sign in with the extension your administrator gives you and your work line is on your iPhone: answer and place calls over the company phone system, see which company or queue a call is for before you pick up, and reach your colleagues without giving out your personal number. CALLS • Answer and place calls on your business line, anywhere • Native iPhone call screen — calls ring like any other call, even when the app is closed • See the company and queue a call belongs to as it rings • Mute, hold, speaker and keypad in call • Sign in to more than one company line and choose which one to call out as • Do Not Disturb per company line MESSAGES • Direct messages and group conversations with your colleagues • Read state that follows you between devices • Notifications for what you have not seen, and nothing else TASKS • A shared task list for your team, kept on your company server LS3 Bridge requires an extension on an LS3 phone system. If your organization uses one, your administrator can give you the server address, extension and password to sign in. It is not a calling service on its own and cannot make calls without an account.

Three-way calling. During a call, tap Add call: the caller is put on hold and the keypad opens for a second number. Once the second person answers, Swap moves between the two, and Merge joins all three of you. After merging, each person has their own Hang up button, so you can drop one and stay on the line with the other. Clearer calls on weak connections. Calls now use a modern voice codec when the other side supports it: about half the data of before, fuller sound, and short dropouts are filled in instead of heard as gaps. A call now carries on when your phone moves between Wi-Fi and mobile data, and call audio is marked as voice so Wi-Fi networks give it priority. Taking a mobile call now puts this call on hold properly, so the caller hears hold music instead of silence. During a call you can move the audio between a Bluetooth headset, the earpiece and the speaker. Tasks can be reworded from the phone: open a task and choose Edit. The task list also shows how many are still to do. Each call sends a short, anonymous quality summary so call problems can be looked into afterwards.
