Good interface, lackluster or incomplete explanations

I really liked starting out on this app because of ease of use. I think it would be great to start out with if you really struggle with lsat thinking. If you value precision and accuracy in your explanations or want to fully understand the test, this is not for you-- often the explanations are incomplete or incorrect, which I find alarming. If you're trying to increase a low diagnostic a few points it might be useful to use the "common-sense method," but if you really want to maximize your score I'd suggest the LawHub explanations or 7sage. However, they do offer some analytics (7sage is still better with this, though) and the interface is fairly easy to use and intuitive. Recommend for those with no logic or phil background.

They talk so negative about the LSAT

I really just can’t get into lsat demon. I’ve tried but I wish I didn’t waste my money. The explanations doesn’t make sense. It just saying a choice is stupid but not how it’s wrong and they just curse too much for no reason.

Great app

It is honestly a great app. I love the Drilling feature and how it gives you a report on your progress. I recommend to anyone prepping for the LSAT.

The Best

The Demon is superior to any test prep I’ve found. I wish I had found them sooner, I wouldn’t have wasted my time, money, and test attempts. I’ll be pushing anyone to the Demon I can (sounds kind of satanic when I re read this haha). I’ve seen many say that Ben and Nate are arrogant and terrible teachers, but I say, “but are they wrong?!” Best explanations, best app, best drilling, and the content is endless. The Demon team is there to help. Keep it up guys.

Please update the app

Big fan of the lsat demons product but can you please fix your app? It’s glitching out and reloads the page every 2 seconds when I am trying to attempt a question.

CTRL+F FEATURE DOES NOT WORK

The CTRL+F feature does NOT work on iPhone. Unfortunately, this makes doing RC on this app unnecessarily different.

*Will update review if fixed, but you cannot practice half of the test at present.

180 stars

My close classmate and friend, Annie Dunning, SWORE by this app. She recommended it to me after several others hadn’t taught me much of anything. Unfortunately, a personal tragedy has postponed my LSAT prepping and final test taking, yet I’ve had the premium subscription for a year now, and the times I’ve accessed it have proved it’s well worth the cost!

I never believed much in prep until my friend told me for her diagnostic she got a 148, first LSAT (after the Demon) a 165, second LSAT, a 169, third time? A 173 and a full ride to Georgetown. The co-creators are great and have hired a team of LSAT tutors to teach regularly scheduled lessons, which can always be accessed later on if something comes up and you miss one. Their motto is essentially that the LSAT is easy, stop stressing, focus and be patient, and you’ll get to where you want to go.

I’ve only taken it once without much prep at all, but still managed a little over a 160, which I completely credit to the app. I’ll take it a final time in April. So good that I almost don’t want to tell anyone because it feels so advantageous to have it!

Thanks for sharing! It’s great to hear you both were able to make solid progress on the LSAT. We’re glad the Demon could help.

Great LSAT Prep

This app allows me to access great LSAT teaching and problems on the go. Raising my LSAT score is more possible with this tool at my fingertips.

10/10 worth the money

If you’re completely lost on the LSAT and do not know where to begin, please trust them. I started practicing back in April 2024 and had no idea who to go to/ trust. I met a few awesome 170+ scorers on TikTok and they all said LSAT Demon was the best and I 100% agree. If you’re a beginner, PLEASE DO NOT pay $500+ on private tutor. Trust Nate, Ben, and the other tutors on this platform because their advice is game changing if you’re lost. It’s now a few months into the demon and I went up 15 points. This app is literally no bs just common sense and I appreciate that as someone who has got scammed by tutoring companies prior to learning about this app.

Go back

Requesting to not hide menu. Used to be at bottom. Better before. Swiping for menu is annoying. Otherwise great app

The BEST

The best LSAT resource. LSAT Demon makes learning fun and easy, and the app is super convenient. LSAT Demon is a must!!

Do Not Update

The latest update removes the free access to answer explanations. Now it’s just a testing app. Correct or incorrect.

Must Have for On-the-Go Prep

I looked for the longest for an app that would assist with LSAT preparation on the go; I needed to drill baby drill. Anytime I had free time, I was drilling this app. The answer explanations are great; there is a video answer (and sometimes two) for almost every question. A great service and great app to learn with.

App is buggy

I keep selecting specific question types to drill, turning demon mode off. But the questions will not actually be the ones I selected, creating confusion. For example, I was drilling weakening questions and once I felt comfortable enough with them I switched it to strengthening. But the drills kept showing me weaken questions, throwing me off, causing me to choose the wrong answers because I had my strengthen mindset locked in. Please fix this.

Great community

This is the place to find others who are serious about the LSAT and know It can be easy 😉

In the demon we trust

Love spending my Friday/Saturday night with these stars. Ben & Nate you guys are awesome. It works, just do it already.

Highly Recommend

Thank you LSAT Demon for changing my life and making me a better person. Your guys explanations are visual, helpful, and often funny! Not only that, but being able to solve everything without diagramming everything like 7Sage helps a lot. Once again, thank you so much for changing my life and helping me build a bigger and brighter future, I couldn’t thank you guys enough. I highly recommend this app to anyone e wanting to boost their score to at least 170-175. Cheers and have a wonderful day.

Best interface for practice

LSAT Demon has the best offerings I’ve seen for practicing the LSAT. Between the dashboard ratings, adaptive drilling, sections, tests, and smooth interface. It doesn’t give you a headache and makes studying feel a tiny bit glamorous instead of replicating a test center vibe. That being said, I would not use this service solely and never try LawHub prior to your official LSAT. Everyone is different, but I’d expect for most people just a bit of exposure to the dupe test environment is enough, and LSAT Demon is fine for the rest of your studies. The lessons, videos, podcasts, and general advice are all very helpful. The advice does tend to have a my way or the highway and high level of certainty along with it (even if it is a tad bit controversial or unique advice), but despite this I still consider the Demon to be the one singular best source for an all around LSAT learning experience!

Glad our tools helped, and thanks for the thoughtful feedback—it helps us improve while staying true to what makes the Demon unique!

The Demon Way

There is only way to study the LSAT and that is the Demon Way. Invest the time and effort to learn their Intuitive approach in attacking the LSAT. Trust the process and drill every day and you’ll be on the way to conquering the LSAT asap.

Good Content - Poor UI

The IOS apps for both iPad and IPhone have inconsistent UI’s with the website, which is a shame because the test is on a tablet. Highlighting and underlining features a visibly absent or hidden. There’s a lot of very helpful content hidden in hyperlinks and not necessarily organized in a way to maximize utility. Great content, but the UI needs work to improve navigation, uniformity, and accessibility.

Thanks for the feedback, Chris. We’re always working to make the app better, and the highlighter and underline tools are already in the works. If you have other ideas to improve the experience, please email us at help@lsatdemon.com.
