The platform frequently emphasizes helping creators build their business and grow their audiences, but the current algorithm doesn’t seem to support that goal at all.
Content exposure appears heavily weighted towards the same creators who are already established and most likely converting the most sales. It’s no secret that other platforms have higher commission rates, so I suppose this is a way to promote platform loyalty.
On the other hand, many smaller and mid-sized creators have been seeing declining reach despite their time consuming efforts. l
It would be encouraging to see discovery and visibility distributed in a way that benefits ALL creators.
At least show our posts to our actual followers’ home feeds again…
I have personally gone from being within the top 1% of creators just last year, to who knows what…because my content is drowning in a sea of an unfair algorithm built to earn the most money, keep large creators loyal and the big stores happy.

I’ve been using LTK Creator and it’s been a great platform for organizing my content and earning from my posts. should honor all creators
If you have less than a million followers, you will be invisible. This algorithm favors high engagement and high sales (which is why you are only seeing mega influencers’ posts on the LtK shopping app, emails, etc)
I have 25k followers on LtK and my posts barely get any clicks/sales. I work with a few big brands on LTK, so the LtK app is still worth it for me. However, if you are new or experiencing the same frustration with lack of visibility, sales and growth…you aren’t alone!

Is something wrong?
Experiencing glitches the past couple of days when tagging items. Today when clicking items to link, alert came up saying ‘not allowed.’ When I did link an item, going back to the shopping page of the retailer, it was blank. And a few times the app just quits. This is all very recent, just the past week.

25k followers, but ready to find a new platform
The LtK platform used to be my go to 2016-2023, but it has become so frustrating and discouraging to use the last few years. I am in the process of finding a platform that values all of their creators with a fair algorithm.
You can have a hard earned following on LtK, but that following will not see your posts unless you are a mega influencer generating high engagement via social media.
I have over 20k followers on LtK (100k across socials) and that used to mean my followers frequently viewed & shopped my content…but now, it’s crickets. I do not have millions on instagram clicking on my LtK links via insta stories, so my content is practically invisible and drowning among the same handful of mega influencers.
The LtK algorithm favors high engagement on posts when it used to value keywords, fresh content, product accuracy & ultimately user experience.
In the Shop LtK app, I can search “nordstrom anniversary sale” and instead of being shown relevant and fresh posts that ALL influencers are creating within the hour, I am instead shown that very specific handful of mega influencers showcasing products not even relevant to my search.
Honestly, I’m convinced they are paying to have their content displayed frequently…because why am I seeing self tanning routine videos when I am searching for holiday gift ideas?
If you are a new creator, I’d look elsewhere. Affiliate marketing is changing constantly and I honestly do not believe LtK is worth the struggle. Another platform will surpass LtK with better opportunities to grow!

Great way to challenge yourself
I’ve been on the app as a creator for a few weeks. I love how easy it is to use and navigate. I appreciate the weekly goal challenges and zoom trainings.
